I don’t think this has to be a “pick one” situation between Nairaland and WhatsApp. People are free to be on both platforms and use each for what it offers.

Personally, I think the strongest value of the WhatsApp group is the opportunity to practice with others who are also scheduled for the assessment center. That kind of real-time interaction is useful.

That said, at this stage of the recruitment process, anxiety is naturally highand curiosity for information is even higher. I’ll be honest, I’m currently on about four different groups plus this Nairaland thread (not saying that’s the healthiest approach), but the tension makes you want to be everywhere information might surface.

Also, a lot of what’s being shared on WhatsApp can already be found here. I’ve personally gained a lot from previous NLNG threads on Nairaland. But even with that, I don’t think it’s a reason to criticize the creation of a WhatsApp group that probably was never ill-intended.

At the end of the day, they serve different purposes. The “OGs” and archived insights are here on Nairaland, while the WhatsApp groups are mostly made up of current candidates looking to connect and prepare together, as I think Keglet is also a candidate.

There’s really no need for it to turn into a conflictboth can coexist and be useful in their own ways.

Hello everyone. I’d like to clarify the AC flow please.
1. Arrival
2. Briefing
3. Group discussion (how many discussion topics are typically discussed here?)
4. Fact finding (Again, how many fact finding sessions? Is it one on one with the assessors?)
5. Presentation (Is it the findings from the fact finding that are being presented?)
6. Is there typically an interview session with panelists and each candidate?

I have asked these because I am told the AC lasts all day. Trying to understand what actually goes on so my preparation can be rightly tailored.
