hello noble abuja land agents. i am completely new to land matters in abuja, and i was hoping that you guys will be kind enough to answer some of my questions.

i am buying a land through a relative in abuja who is not very familiar with the buying and verification process. i decided to bring my concerns to NL were i know people like you can help. my questions are:

1) from the point where i find the right plot,what next do i do?

2) at what point do i involve a lawyer?

3) how is land verification done?

4) what services do i expect from my lawyer

5) what services do i expect from my agent

6) how is payment done, does my lawyer handle payment to the landowner?

7) and will there be any documentation anywhere to show that i paid any money to the landowner / agent?
