I get your hatred for Islam, the only other Abrahamic religion that veberates Jesus and his Mother, while acknowledging that your zealous perspective is shaped by local politics and brainwashing ( "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" ). But why can't you see, as a Christian, that the wholesale slaughter of innocent men, women and children in the name of "self defense" is completely inhuman and barbaric and goes against anything moral? Does your religion teach you that any life that's outside your religious affinity is worthless and deserving of death? Does your stomach not churn when you see piles of bodies of children and fetuses blown to pieces and 2 year olds without limbs?

All over the world, there's outright condemnation of israel's atrocities, not in the name of Judaism but for Zionism, and most of this condemnation is coming from Christians and Jews alike, except you totally deluded and irredeemably brainwashed Nigerian judaic Christians.

I'm not frankly interested in shaping anyone's opinions, however perverted, nor do I desire to be drawn into this eternal argument of supposedly "biblically chosen ones" ascribed to nothing but European colonialists, but it does boggle the mind at this outright support of indecency.

All this simply doesn't matter if it does not result in a strategic victory. Iran is still not going to capitulate.

I believe Trump understands clearly that he has effectively lost in Iran, not in the military sense but in the strategic sense that he will not be able to achieve the kind of victory he had envisioned at the beginning; something similar to Venezuela. The only thing holding him back from publicly admitting this loss is ego.

Lyndon B Johnson suffered the same thing in Vietnam; it was clear to him during the early days of the war that the US had lost the war in Vietnam, but it was his ego that kept him going. This Iran war could easily be worse than Vietnam, because unlike Vietnam, this war would be fought across multiple countries and frontlines with multiple non-state actors, not to mention the impact on the global economy.

I hope for all our sakes that Trump will see beyond his ego and do the needful. Make peace with the Iranians and solve the Palestinian issue (which is at the centre of all this crisis) once and for all. It will be much better for his legacy than the alternative.
