InvestmentRe: I Recently Received An Inheritance And Now Have Over ₦150-million Just Sitting T by revived2: 4:45pm On Aug 12, 2025
Threads like this is the last place I'll ever pitch anything

I'll rather eat my popcorn while reading through different opinions here and there.

As for the op amgamg , just do you .... At the end you're absolutely responsible for the outcome of your life.

Asides from some conversations here that only broadens on your choice of multiplication, others are literally trying to pitch you one or two to eat a chunk of your wealth

If T.bills and mutual funds is the way you know you'll be safe with your inheritance, do it and have your peace of mind .

And as for those proposing business to you or one investment of a sort , you'll be better off not yielding to any of those opinions even though you asked for them because, except it's your own personal decision to run a business or startup or buying and selling, the possibility of a business surviving in this present day Nigeria in 35% , and you certainly don't want to bank your inheritance on this .

So while you put your funds into " securities " I personally will advice you to get a skill that's not financially inclusive to onboard on.

Get a skill where you'll offer your value and get paid for it so that your whole dependency isn't on flipping 150m to 1bn.

In as much as t.bills and other are valid , if you keep chasing how to desperately flips those funds , there's a possibility of parting away with some as losses

Godspeed and goodluck AmgAmg

Hi guys, I'm new here and my boss asked me to get a Starlink for my work. I do many Zoom meeting and the Nigerian network have been really embarrassing. Please, I choose to buy the Starlink mini. I see the somewhere saying they bought their mini for 300k plus. I got to their website and I'm seeing that the complete package is actually 754,300.

Also is the mini easy for me to plug in and hit the ground running or i have to call someone for installation too?

Car TalkRe: Advice On Acura Mdx 04 by revived2: 9:44am On Aug 07, 2025

OP, you CANT go wrong with an MDX, especially the 2004 and after. 2001-2003 often develops transmission issues (if not taken care of well) after the 100,000Km mark but that has been corrected in 2004 and after designs.

I presently use a 2006 MDX and that car is very solid. the parts are easy to get as it uses some Honda parts but it is a luxury car.
Trust me, let your mechanic look at it and you'll surely enjoy it.
Hello I can see you use the 2006 model

Can you give an advise in what I should look out for , I'm thinking of purchasing the same year model.

I use MDX 04 personally myself (Touring with RES), am presently based in Lagos. You have to understand that the car is a luxury SUV that is equipped with all necessity.

MDX 04 is a 3.5 litre capacity engine so you can't compare the fuel consumption with other basic SUV like Highlander, Pilot, CRV, etc. MDX is in Toyota lexus category

I bought mine early this year and I have been using it for six month now with no issue, you get the best fuel efficiency on highways not really good with city with lots of traffic, this is true for all high capacity litre engine. I spend an average of 5k on weekly basis including weekends and I believe this works for me because my office route is against Lagos traffic. My previous car is a V6 Mazda with 2.4 litre engine capacity and then I spend like N3,500 weekly.

The car is a very good one but you need to inspect well to ensure you are not buying liability, I mean a faulty one. And also never allow any how mechanic to touch the vehicle, I usually do my home work myself before going to the Mech, you can learn a lot here on Nairaland.

let me know if you still want to know more
Hello I'm looking to buy the 2006 model of the SUV , can you give an advise with respect to yours and what I should look out for even though yours was 2004

I'll be expecting your response, thanks .
