Hello. we have the same problem.I just fix my pc a while ago.just 3 steps.if you have any anti virus CD try it. Insert it in your computer.
1. start your pc in a safe mode ( press F8)  then restart
    and press F12 for boot menu.
2. select CD-ROM DEVICE then press SCAN then Repair
3. After the repair reboot it in normal mode F-8 key

NOTE: My pc is DELL so take note of the difference of the F-KEY function to other PC. Please to reply
