PhysicsQED: lol, there would be a thread for Greek mythology before that of any other foreign group. It's taught in the West and promoted so much because of the racial connection and historical connection (via the Romans) between the Greeks and other Europeans (particularly Western European) and European descended people that promote it.

I suspect that Mayan mythology, Aztec mythology, Egyptian mythology, Chinese, Persian, Indian, Sumerian, Native American etc. mythology will never get their own threads on here.
