Tinubu Appoints Nasir Naeem Abdulsalam As New Ajaokuta Steel Company MD (Full Details)

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially appointed Nasir Naeem Abdulsalam as the new Managing Director of Ajaokuta Steel Company.

The appointment, which takes effect from April 3, 2025, is part of the ongoing efforts to revitalise Nigeria’s steel industry and drive industrial growth under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Before this role, Abdulsalam served as Technical Adviser to the Honourable Minister of Steel Development and also as the Special Assistant (Academics) to the Director General of the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS).

President Tinubu is tasking him to transform Ajaokuta Steel into a major player in both local and international markets, generating economic activities and helping Nigeria achieve its goal of becoming Africa's industrial hub.

But as Christian teaching reminds us, forgiveness is not just a moral duty—it’s a condition for receiving forgiveness from God. As Matthew 6:12, 14–15 (KJV) states, “Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors… For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: but if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”
