Rhoso, I pm'd you. Did you get my msg?
I got your message, it is a pretty long story which I do not have the time to share, bottom line is that key facts of my application was not considered including submitted documents before making a decision. So I wish to contact the BHC to look into the case again, but I have not been able to get their contact

Good day house,

Please I wish to complain about a wrong judgement made on my application for a 6 months visit visa, even though I have no right to appeal I wish to set the record straight. Do you have an email address of the UK embassy? Decision was made in Lagos office.

Thank you.

I understand where you are coming from, the only major expenditure here is the £750 flight money.

Its 50/50 situation, you can reapply and explain that your friend will be accommodating you and that the trip will only cost you the £750 for the ticket.

Your friend has to include the same statement in his letter and attach data page of his passport and proof of accommodation..e.g tenancy agreement or mortgage paper.
@Justwise..Thank you for your advise.

I will however need further clarification on these quesions -

What is the cost to you personally of your trip in GBP(£)? - (Does this include the cost of my flight and any other money i intend to spend or just spending money?

The total amount of money you have for this trip? - I do not understand.

Sorry for bothering you, I just need to understand this cos this is what cost me the first application.

Thank you once again.

Was the £1800 you stated before for ticket and shopping alone?
@ Justwise

This is what I stated in the form when I applied -

What is the cost to you personally of your trip in GBP(£)? 1300
The total amount of money you have for this trip? 1800 GBP
The cost of the aeroplane, boat or train tickets 750GBP

I probably did not understand what they meant by all these, kindly advise

Thank you.

If there is not significant change from the last time you applied getting a visa will be a tough one.
@Justwise Thank you.

That is why I have presented the case here and need an advice, I am not hell-bent on going there for my vacation but if I stand a chance to be issued then I will want to know. The fact that my account balance is now 1.1m from 910k + my cost available for the trip is now 1,100GBP instead of 1,800GBP i put before, is that not enough significant change? I just need your take and advise if to go on or drop it, and if to go on what can I do to increase my chances of being granted the visa.

Thank you.

What I meant before was did you add that part in your first application? Or is this new development?
I was added in my first application, they confirmed in the refusal letter that they are satisfied that he will be able to accommodate me

Was the cost of accommodation included in your first application or did you state that your friend who is inviting will help?
@ Justwise thanks for your response.

My friend will be accommodating me during the duration of my stay and it was stated in his letter, hence there was no cost of accommodation.

Kindly advise, thank you.

Has anything changed since the last time you applied?
Thank you @ Justwise

I got this refusal last week, my salary for last month has been paid and I have about 1.1m in my account. My friend that gave me an invite also said he can write as a co-sponsor..also I plan reducing the amount I will spend on the trip from the initial 1,800GBP to 1,100GBP.

Thank you.

Yea, a mistake I must admit but I misunderstood the questions on the form. Anyway I have 1.1m in my account now and plan to reduce the amount on the proposed trip to 1,100GBP

I applied for a UK visitors visa but got refused, find below a part of the refusal letter-

You have stated on your application that you are single and employed as an ....... and earn 210,000 NGN (£668.63) per month. You have provided an employment letter and payslips to support this.

• You state that you have £1,800 available for your proposed trip. As evidence of available funds you have submitted bank statements from .... Bank and ... Bank showing combined funds of 910,871.76 (£2,900.17). I do not find it credible that you would spend almost two thirds of your savings on a holiday given your personal circumstances. This causes me to doubt that the purpose of your visit is as stated.

• In light of all of the above I am not satisfied as to your intentions in wishing to travel to the United Kingdom and will leave the UK at the end of your visit. Furthermore, I am not satisfied that you have sufficient funds available to cover your costs whilst in the UK without working or accessing public funds. You application for a visit visa has been refused under paragraph V4.2 (a) (e)

Any future UK visa applications you make will be considered on their individual merits, however you are likely to be refused unless:
• your personal circumstances change significantly between now and your next application
• you provide compelling new evidence with your next application

I want to reapply, what advise can you give me? Thank you
