smartkester: You mentioned a lot and I agree with almost all but DSS doesn't pay upfront. I have three friends working with DSS. They don't get upfront Because you know them doesn’t mean you know everything. DSS receives a part of their salary middle of the month. I think they call it pecu. It’s basics knowledge they receive upfront payment |

Politics › The Humanitarian Heart In General Christopher Gwabin Musa by RichardRexs(op): 3:26pm On Feb 23 |
Not many people knows that General Christopher Gwabin Musa apart from being a tough military officer that does not compromise professionalism and discipline in the military, he equally has a humane heart that endowed him to not only fellow soldiers, but even with the civil populace.
Apart from his suave and brilliant command of words that had made him a darling to media personalities, General Christopher Gwabin Musa has endowed himself into the heart of the neediest by putting smiles in their faces.
This act of humanitarianism place him in the class of military legends who built a name for themselves with being compassionate.
One of the most humble and caring military officers with a humanitarian heart in history is Captain William D. Swenson, a US Army officer who received the Medal of Honor for his bravery in Afghanistan. He's known for showing extraordinary compassion and care for his subordinates, even kissing a wounded comrade on the forehead during a rescue mission.
Other notable humanitarians with military backgrounds include:*Edith Cavell*, a WWI nurse who saved Allied soldiers in occupied Belgium.
*Friedrich Born*, a Swiss diplomat who saved thousands of Jewish people during WWI-
*Major General John M. Chisholm*, awarded for his leadership in disaster relief efforts. ( thenewhumanitarian. Meta)
These individuals demonstrated remarkable selflessness and compassion, inspiring others to make a difference.
General Christopher Gwabin Musa, himself being an international veteran in Peace missions in Liberia with ECOMOG and many other international duty calls that includes Sierra Leone has shown this aspect of his over time. No wonder, he is a recipient of Collin Powell award for best soldiering and Nelson Mandela Examplinary leadership award and many more.
Only recently, the Atyap people in the southern kaduna state of Nigeria called him out to contest for the position of a Senator for the senatorial district of the state. That's the love being extended to him by his people whom he has represented well in national service.
On the national level, Nigerians are calling on the president to consider him as a replacement to vice president, Shetima in order to balance the Muslim and Christian dichotomy.
General Christopher Gwabin Musa is known for his philanthropy within the military, and a lot is spoken about his wife, Mrs Oghogho Musa's selfless and compassionate heart within all the Barracks her husband is posted.
It has become a regular exercise for the Musa's to share food items and money for the less privilege in our society, and at various IDP Camps. They equally have numerous children of the neediest on their scholarship schemes.
He is equally a military General who appreciates his past as a struggling child growing up at Gwiwa low cost in sokoto town, a place he has continuously reconnected with, together with his childhood friends, and only recently renovated the primary school he attended as a growing child, the clinic he was treated at various times while growing up, and only recently activated the renovation job at his Alma mater, FGC sokoto.
No doubt, General Christopher Gwabin Musa is a shining phenomenal presently radiating light over the political landscape surrounding president Tinubu, and gradually transiting into a great civil leadership.
His humanitarian spirit and heart is that gift that has endowed him to God and, God is set to position him as a problem solver to the country. His impact in tackling banditry and Terrorism speaks volumes.
It's not about his suave and brilliant words across the media, but a man, whom God has chosen to help restore Nigeria's Peace and unity, and for a president who has a gift in detecting great talents, president Tinubu knew what he wanted and he went for it.
This is just a beginning of what lines ahead for General Christopher Gwabin Musa, a Humanitarian in military uniform who has transited to a civilian social welfarist.

My document age is goin over the criteria already after I made it to vetting process😭 This DG prioritize staff welfare. it would be unjust to have people go to camp while fasting when it can be easily rescheduled. Omoluwabi4real: it just want to bring it the notice of every one, please stop asking for the salary get the job first ,if you don't like the place you turn it down is not by force.Idea of asking how much do they pay is not what you need .Get the offer first . So when you apply for jobs, why do you ask for salary expectations? It’s to check if you can work with the pay. Nothing serious It’s only here you guys reprimand people who ask for pay like it’s a bad thing. |

Cmanforall: I wish he could do this in some states, outside FCT. He’d be shocked to find how nonchalant some of these officers are. If possible he can come in disguise. Some of those officers may not even recognise him, should he be on a casual polo and face cap
I’m just imagining him approaching the gate and those hunting for clients should approach him for settlement to fast track 😂😂😂 he’s going to be demoted or loose his job. He would wish he had not come to the office that day. Civil servants in this country are entitled and nonchalant. It’s as if they were forced to the service |

jakD: I went to the NIS office in Yenagoa for capturing. This man was boldly telling me to pay an extra 25K for logistics, that the 104k I paid online is for Abuja.
I recorded part of the conversation both in audio and video, I didn't start early cos I didn't expect it.
As it is, with his threat, I fear that my passport might be intentionally delayed and not processed early. Post it online and tag the Minister , NIS hq and state command alongside your proof. I guarantee you that your passport would be ready within 48hours |
Politics › Re: Interior Minister Visits Passport Office Unannounced, Berates Delays by RichardRexs(m): 6:14pm On Jan 20 |
Richtaiwo: I can hardly tolerate this brand of political theatre, where office holders suddenly “discover” the very failures they were hired to fix.
Watching the minister stroll into a passport office and perform public shock over passport delays is almost farcical. Are we really to believe this rot just appeared overnight, or that it somehow thrived for years without his awareness?
Berating subordinates before cameras does not equal leadership. One cannot help but suspect this sudden burst of seriousness only came after he sensed the mess was about to be publicly exposed. Governance is not street theatre, Nigerians need action, not acting. If you have been following the activities of the Minister of Interior, you won’t be making this baseless claims. He has been doing these visits to the various agencies under his ministry. We are proud of him and wish other Ministers emulate him |
