PoliticsRe: Is This The One Nigeria We Crave For? by Richbboy22(op): 11:09pm On Jan 21, 2016
Reyginus:
It really hurts to see us live like this. I don't understand this myself. Why human beings will bring this upon themselves. The hatred is real. There's no fibre if the country not immersed in it.

Few months ago I was serving in Benue I saw the hatred there too. While the Tivs want to remain in power forever and wouldn't want the minority tribes to be in charge, the Idomas, Igedes and others brim with hate. This is a state that is large enough to exist as countries when split.

Go to Kogi State. The same war is evident in the Igbura, the Igala, the Ogirimagongo and other tribes. The hatred is so real. But this state is also large enough to replicate the Benue Example.

The problem with us is that we tend to think that there is something better in being a part of a larger society. Societies do not exist on the basis of strength in numbers but on a basis of shared ideology as strength.

We tend to think that existing as smaller countries is a vice itself. But we are wrong. The reason I envy Europe.

As much as I'm not a Biafran protester,I still cannot understand the strong reason why this country should remain one, when it is clearly evident that there is no such thing as oneness, from the outlook of things in the country.

Few days ago, some Innocent protesters were shot dead at Aba,and nobody asked why....nobody cared to know what really happened. It just seemed Ok to Buhari and his men.

Just about a month ago or there-about,the Shittes were attacked by the Military for trying to obstruct the Chief of Army's staff's movement.A few shittes were Killed,We all condemned that...but guess what happened after that...An investigation Panel was immediately set up,so sweet!

That brings me back to my question "Is the One Nigeria we crave for?"

Can someone please give me a single STRONG reason why this country should remain as one.

Can someone tell why no investigation panel was set up for the Aba massacre and other massacres that the IPOB protesters have faced in recent times?

How long will bias and prejudice continue?

Are there some part of the country that deserve more Love and honor than the others?

If we really want One Nigeria,as we claim without a real STRONG reason. Then we must rise and condemn Nepotism and one-sided government Intervention

I'm Proudly Nigerian.
ONE NIGERIA!
