The monitor appears blank when it is not connected to the monitor cable or if the monitor is defective. Perform the following steps to solve this problem.

1.Verify that the monitor is connected to a power source and is receiving power. In recent times, monitors have a small light on the front indicating that the power is on.

2.If the screen of the monitor appears white or gray(instead of black) and if a buzzing or high-pitched whistle is coming from the monitor, the monitor is probably not connected to the PC’s video card and ensure the connection is proper. Also check the connection at the rear of the monitor. The monitor uses a two-end video cable. Check the pins in the cable connectors for bent or broken pins before reconnecting them.

3.Check that the brightness and contrast controls have not been tuned all the way up, which results in a dark screen. If these two controls are all right, check other controls because some combinations of settings will also darken the display. Use the monitor’s manual to see whether the solution to this problem is given or not. Besides this, set the monitor’s adjusting controls, such as brightness or contrast from the monitor’s menu.

4.Reboot the PC. Listen for beep codes and watch for error messages, if any, from the power on self test (POST). If a single beep is sounded and the PC appears to be continuing with the boot, then it means that the problem is in the monitor .Otherwise the problem may be that the boot is hanging up before the video BIOS and the device drivers are loaded.

5.Repalce the monitor with a new monitor. If the display appears, then it means that the previous monitor is faulty.

PROBLEM 1. IMAGES APPEARS BLURRED

SOLUTION : If the image appears blurred, check the transfer roller, and laser-scanning assembly.

A worn transfer roller can cause a “faded” image symptom. The transfer roller cannot be cleaned as it must be replaced. In addition, the dust on a lens or mirror of the laser-scanning assembly can distort the beam and cause image problems. Remove the screws securing the top and examine the interior.

Carefully examine and clean the reflecting mirror and lenses. Typically, the laser assembly can easily be removed for cleaning or replacement purposes.

PROBLEM 2. FUZZY LASER OUTPUT

SOLUTION : Fuzzy laser output maybe due to the dirty corona wire or running out of toner. Appearance of horizontal lines in the printing indicates the damaged or dirty print drums or print roller as all these are part of the cartridge. Therefore replacing the cartridge is a better option.

PROBLEM 3. PRINTOUT ARE APPEARING WHITE

SOLUTION : If the print out appears white in printing, then shake the toner package for an equal distribution of powder. If the problem persists, then clean the transfer corona assembly. Due to the accumulation of dust on the assembly, the electrical charge that assembly holds is unable to attract toner from the drum.

PROBLEM 4. PAPER CURLS WHEN IT COMES ON THE OUTPUT BIN OF THE PRINTER

SOLUTION : Such a situation occurs when the fusing area of the printer apply more than required heat on the paper. Check whether the control panel of the printer has any option to adjust fuser temperature. Otherwise, consult the authorized vendor of printer.

PROBLEM 5. PRINTER PRINTS BLANK PAGES

SOLUTION: The first possible reason could be toner running out of powder. To overcome this problem, first turn off the printer and pull out the toner from the printer. In case, the powder is out stock, then replace the toner and print a test page from the computer.

Another reason could be the presence of sealing tape (preventive seal on the opening of the tone to avoid any damages) on the top of the toner.

Check the toner for sealing tape. If Present then remove it, and fix the toner back in the printer. Now try to print a test page from the computer.

Printers also print blank pages due to the presence of blank pages in the file. If possible delete those blank pages from the file.

A Zambian Pastor,Humerayo Kalupeteka was in the late evening of today nabbed by the Zambian Police for asking members of his congregation,over 2,000 to eat grass.

The story goes this way:
Pastor Kalupeteka is a vibrant young pastor of an ever-widening living church,Christ Assembly.Known for his ability to perform miracles and do seemingly unnatural things told his members to go out to the field and grasses.According to him,God told him,that was the only way any human being could be truely free from all earthly diseases.

the protesters shot in aba destroyed government properties and were violent.

the federal government has a mandate to protect the lives and properties of every INNOCENT citizen of Nigeria from hoodlums.

Innocent Igbos who had nothing to do with the protest had to be secured by the Nigerian army.

I don't subscribe to taking lives either of the protesters or the soldiers or even the innocent passers by. Life is sacred.

the UN has given a guideline for them to achieve sovereignty. the questions are, why are they not following it? why the violent means?
