Rexie59: This thing no get one answer o. Relocating abroad is not beans, but investing in Nigeria also comes with plenty wahala. It all depends on what you really want out of life.
If you decide to stay, ₦30m is enough to start building long-term wealth if you play it wisely. Not everything has to be business, you can split it. Some in safe instruments like T-bills or dollar savings, and some into assets that appreciate like real estate. These days you don’t even need to start buying full plots outright; platforms like Keble allow you to co-own properties and earn steady income from it. That way, your money is tied to something tangible and not just sitting in the bank losing value.
If you choose Japa, just know the money will finish fast, and you’ll be starting from scratch doing odd jobs till you find your footing (if you do). Nothing wrong with that, but you need to be sure that’s the life you want. kebble |

sky404: please House, I completed a redemption form to withdraw all my money in Stanbic IBTC mmf yesterday morning, & my redemption form was received & acknowledged by them, & they said I should Go & wait for three to five working days to receive the money in my Account.
But I just logged into my Stanbic IBTC mmf Account this morning & saw that interest has been added again on my yesterday's balance, as if I didn't even fill a redemption form to withdraw all my money,
pls should I worry about this?? is it that they've NOT started processing my request?? cos my balance keeps adding daily interest as if I didn't even make any request to redeem all the money in there.
somebody should help explain this to me. who has successfully withdrawn all his money in Stanbic IBTC mmf before? So as you are waiting for 3 to 5 days. Is your profit supposed to be stopped?? Your profit stopped accumulating the moment the money gets in your account. |

Creditalerts: I should be proud to introduce an investment with capital preservation to my business associates not the other way round, any investment u are not confident of is a failure✌🏾 bro . I have been seeing your comments everywhere. I can beat my chest that you have more than 100M in mmf . So the 15 to 21% you are getting per annual is ok for you . And you don't want to risk further. But some of us get mind . Equity fit give you 100 percent profit per year . Use the profit continue to make more . Inside there . When I was starting , I was scared to risk my money on mmf as low as the risk was . Gradually , I learnt and upgraded to Equities . I know you are scared of upgrading to Equities and so are many people out there with their money sitting in their bank account also scared to risk MMF that you have fully understand. Na so the life be . Allow everyone do their investments in peace. |

Mixology: Good morning guys, please I need a solid mmf that is at least 17 percent, good user interface, being able to see daily income, quick deposit and withdrawal, as well as ability to print the statement of account instantly by oneself. Many thanks If you have GT banking app , it's easy and smooth 17.5 percent. Or use cowrywise for trust banc mmf for 19.9 percent . |

Creditalerts: I repeat pls no follow me o,equity is risky stick with MMF the risk in equity if it comes to play can cause high blood pressure 😁 but equity has always given more than 50 percent profit p.a. It's just the up and down of the market that scares people. But 50 percent profit is sure at the end of the year. Except this election coming next year will affect the stock market negatively |

ugwumichael: Please I have 3 questions
1. While opening the trust banc money market fund this morning, I saw where they wrote a fee of 1.4%, and then in the Stanbic ibtc commercial paper with trust banc I saw this feeling (shown in the screenshot attached highlighted with yellow arrow. What's the difference between the 2 fees.
2. Also what is the interest on the trustbanc money market fund this morning.
3. Which is better between the commercial paper with Stanbic Ibtc and the trust banc money market fund. Thank you CP is better . Trust banc mmf rate is 19.9 and CP is like 23%. If you put 500k in their mmf you get 599k and if you put 500k in CP you get 617k . The fee you highlighted is just a small portion stanbic charges for helping Trust banc sell their CP |

Calinson2000: Is it not better to invest in Trustbanc MMF than the CP since it has a better interest rate, however I know this rate can fluctuate. Is there any other benefit? trustbanc mmf rate might be 19.9 but their CP is 19 but compounded. You might get up to 23% at the end of the year on CP. |

With the form you can withdraw any amount. Thank you Senior man . Can they transfer all the funds in my mmf to commercial paper? I want to buy the trustbanc CP. Or it must first be deposited into my account. |

freeman67: Yes ooo. They are advising it. The minimum from the issuer is N5,000,000 it's them that want to collate retail investors funds to invest on their behalf.
For someone that has the N5,000,000 complete, it's better to invest it directly with via the direct agents or arrangers for the issuer. All bills and charges on commercial papers bar WHT is taken borne by the issuer. However, some sub agents sometimes look for avenue to reap you off. Like bluenest for example that will charge you N53,000 as management fee for the 5M. Thanks for the clarification. I wanted to redeem from my stanbic . They don't allow you redeem more than 5M per day. Is there any way to redeem more than 5M from stanbic mutual fund ? |

EquityM: To be honest, it is better to wait till December and enter; the market is unpredictable for now. Nevertheless, you can invest a little amount to navigate the market. Thank you for your response. Arm has given me 26% percent already from January to this day. I wanted to invest more . But I will just invest more on mmf for now . I will wait till December to invest on equity |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by richgang(m): 11:41am On Mar 13 |
Hello House,
Please enlighten us. Since most of these equities usually return around 30% to 51%, I noticed that GT Equity did about 57% last year, while ARM did about 55%. Most of them have already done more than 25% this year alone, which means only about 25% to 35% may be left for the rest of the year.
So it seems likely that more red days could still come.
My question is: since most of these equities have already done almost 50% in just about three months, is it still advisable to invest in equities now, or would it be better to relax with MMF until next year and then invest in equities starting January 1? |

petomas: Thank you very much for putting me through. I signed up on Saturday, subscribed only 5,000 naira to the Money Market Funds but the challenges I have are; I was not given an e-account as at then and I was also not aware I was to add t on the description of the transaction so when making payment through manual bank transfer, I used Stanbic IBTC Money Market Funds plus my name at the description part. And after some seconds, I got an email confirming my made subscription but would be notified once it's confirmed. Under my investment activities, it shows that the transaction was completed but I don't know why it's not reflecting. I understand that Saturday wasn't a working day but is it normal for the delay up till this time despite the fact that i've filed a complain to their email yet, no response? I want to be sure of the next thing to do as the little amount was to use in testing it to know how it works before I'll think of investing more. Pls experts here should tell me what's obtainable. Thank you all. Since you didn’t use the reference attached to your Stanbic mutual funds account, your money won’t be credited . All you can do is report to your bank to help you do a refund or call stanbic and tell them the situation , they will help . To make it much easier for you , login with their bluenest , you will have a dedicated stanbic account number to your name only . You can top up or withdraw straight to any of your bank account within minutes. |
