That's just fine. What you need is a scanned copy of the certificate/document to do the application

Hello how long before getting a feedback after an interview, this is 1 week today no feedback on the interview conducted last week...

My dear, I will advice you to just write them by mail. And always ensure to ask for a time frame to get a feedback after each interview. This would help ensure you know when you should be reach them.


However, if its any consolation, I once got a feedback from an interview 2 weeks after doing the interview and for another, as soon as we ended the meeting, I got a call on my phone

You don't have to go down... You can have someone apply for that for you. However, you will have to send the Statement of Result to the person because most schools(if not all) retrieve that when giving out the Degree Certificate

Offer letter has been received 3 weeks ago and nothing has been said about CoS.

The duration differs for different organisations. For example, it took the organisation I chose to work with 2 days to reissue a COS while it took over 2 month to even have another organisation I got an offer from to talk about giving me a provisional offer letter.

So you just have to be patient with them and provide them with all the necessary documents or information they might be needing. You can also regularly write to your recruitment manager to get update on the progress or status of the whole process

Based on my finding, a Band 6 score across each section should suffice for a health care assistant job but for some other professional like nurses, you will need an average of a Band 7 Score with no less than a 6.5 in any of the Sections (Listening, Writing, Speaking and Reading)

So a friend sent me a link to a care home in UK owned by a Ghanaian and Nigeria. After the successful interview, I was told to pay 3500 pound for processing of documents, accomodation and all�. Why are Africans like this? If I have 3500 pounds will I want to live Nija. Thank God for Nairaland. I told the guy I will get back to him. He was saying after all your salary will be 21000 and it's an opportunity for you bla bla bla�. It is well with our continent oh... Search continues ���

I believe being in Nigeria is a big hindrance to this care assistant pathway joor.
I applied over a 100 places and got zero!
I swapped and ticked that I have the right to work and viola three conditional offer within two weeks.
Infact, one of them we were over 100 plus candidates.
When we got to the *Rubicon!* And I crossed the reality bridge by telling them my apologetic truth; they Quickly returned the Jobs back to indeed/track.




My advice sha...just keep applying honestly if you want to tow this pathway.......I am closing in on 135 application now oh.... although



I didn't take the person specification seriously initially.....I wasn't re-tweaking my Cv for each Jobs.....and I wasn't strictly applying to COS-available Jobs.


To be honest, now I still get alot of *unfortunately afternoon mails* but unlike before I get clear explanations of why I wasn't shortlisted and now it's mostly around dia inability to offer me cos..... The offered salary doesn't qualify for the visa etc.
....



I hope to drop my goodness hear soonest.....I have stayed too long on this japa journey

All you have to do is focus more on jobs with opportunities for sponsorship... There are a lot of them on NHS job site so you can also try that.

Inorder to use the NHS jobsite, you will have to get a compelling work experience and supporting information

Finally, you must be truthful with your application. Incomplete information or misleading information can also lead to you losing an opportunity even if you were successful. That's to say, if you assume to have the right to work or indefinite leave to return, that means you can atleast take up some roles without sponsorship which isn't the case

You guys don't need any much connect for this... If you need it urgently, just go down to your school, make payment or a formal request/letter for it then look for the person incharge of typing it and all you have to do is tip the person to motivate him into taking your seriously.

Don't think that really matters except you were planning to pay to get a faster decision in the first place which means you might be keeping an extra 300k to 700k (Priority and Super Priority respectively) for your application

You can't have band 4 except you're inducted and you have done some physical practicals
If you buy the course you won't be able to fulfill everything necessary to have the certificate
As long as you're outside UK the maximum you can have is band 3

I also wanted to but got stuck because I needed to perform physical practicals which is not possible because I'm not in the country

I even mailed them they didn't respond to me

Don't waste your money just do band 3 and keep applying

I will advice you just go for the Band 4 courses since you certain you would be certified. The higher the level and skill, the higher the tendency of getting the sponsor you need plus your career development and growth will be faster than way... And I really don't know how it works for Health Care Assistant but for Health Workers, you can choose to go a step lower while doing your job search if you want which means you can get to apply for both Band 4 and 3 jobs if that's applicable for you guys as well

I think it’s their ignorance jare. It’s clearly written on the uk government website. Most of these oyinbos don’t know much about immigration rules.

So I sent a mail and she replied “ We will gain confirmation from our solicitor and come back to you should we require any further test reports.”

So I believe the Solicitor should be more informed and hopefully my Ecctis would be accepted.

What kind of job where you offered/are you apply for?

If you can tell me the exact role, I might be able to tell if it's necessary to write an IELTS exam or if Ecctis will suffice and all you have to do is back it up with evidence

Some H&C Job still requires IELTS, a few of such job is Nursing Jobs and Medical Doctors

Application should be done using your degree certificate to avoid delays in your application approval

As regarding the payment, it can be done from any bank as long as you don't have limitations on the card being used for the payment
