I am of the opinion that every farmer need a biogas digester in his or her farm whether you are into crop or animal farming. Its of immense benefits to both farmers because animal dung and rotten crops can be use as waste to produce methane gas for cooking and lighting purposes and also a slurry fertilizer is produce that is rich in NPK and ideal for crop farmers. Am a renewable energy expert specificaly Biogas - it is a way of turning Animal dung and food waste into gas for cooking and lighting purposes at homes. I have a burden of taking this technology to the eastern states of nigeria starting from Anambra state to organise seminars and training on biogas for participants and also to build biogas digesters at homes and rural communities in the east.
