LAGOS— A security man, simply
identified as Thompson, has died after
drinking a bottle of a popular alcoholic
drink and smoking five sticks of
cigarette in two minutes, which were the
terms of a bet he entered into with
others he met at a joint.
The incident happened at Agege area of
Lagos on May 7, after the deceased
bought bottles of Ogogoro (local gin) for
his drinking companions, who then
challenged him to finish a bottle of
bitters and smoke five sticks of cigarette
within a stipulated time.
If he had won, the friends would have
paid for everything he consumed.
Vanguard gathered that after agreeing
to the terms, the deceased opened the
bottle of bitters, drank it in less than two
minutes, smoked two sticks of cigarette,
stood up and began to walk away.
His friend’s story
His friend, 28-year-old Earnest Joseph,
who had gone out with him said: “At
about 8am, Thompson returned from
his security guard job, went inside his
room and slept.
“Later in the afternoon, two of his
friends came. So I prepared Eba
because he had soup and we all ate. We
went out to a nearby local hot drink
vendor, popularly called Tee Sugar .
Thompson bought N50 quantity of
Dongoyaro and N30 sachet of Chelsea
for each of us.
“From there we went to another vendor
in the neighbourhood and met some of
Thompson’s friends from his home
town. He ordered for two full bottles of
local gin, Ogogoro , which we drank
together.
“As soon as we finished consuming the
first bottle, Thompson and his relatives
began to speak their local dialect, which
I do not understand.
“All of a sudden, the vendor brought a
big bottle of bitters. I asked Thompson if
he was the one that ordered for the
bottle. He said his friends ordered it and
that he wants to prove to them that he
can drink a bottle of Alomo Bitters and
five sticks of cigarettes.
“I tried to stop him but he drank it in
less than two minutes, smoked two
sticks of cigarette and decided to leave.
His relatives called him back to smoke
the remaining three.”
Trouble
He said trouble started as soon as he
finished the fifth stick.
He reportedly became uncomfortable,
staggering, sweating profusely and
breathing heavily as he walked away.
Joseph said he took Thompson home
on okada. He was said to have vomited
several times and then died at about
8p.m. in his room.
Joseph said: “I was arrested because I
was the one that brought him home in
that condition.”
Confirming the incident, Lagos State
Police Public Relations Officer, Deputy
Superintendent of Police, Kenneth
Nwosu, said the suspect has been
arrested and the case transferred to the
Homicide Division of the Department of
Criminal Investigation, Yaba, Lagos.

My guy what you need to understand my answer is to believe in God and His works, for heaven and hell are his hand works.

the hell you're looking for is down beneath the heaven where God stays and also beneath the earth, but it is not physical rather its spiritual. The journey starts after death.


When you look at those bible references posted you see down to hell, beneath to hell etc.

you hear of God, angels, devil and demons etc, these are spirits that is why the spiritual hell fire has been prepared by the spiritual Almighty God for the spiritual devil, demons and his other agents.

Man is physical now when he dies he goes spiritual to join God in heaven or the devil in hell depending on who he served on earth.

#1 How does god manage to be everywhere?...

god isn't really at two places at once but "he" is linked with every location......how?
If the universe is but a marble to god then god could be linked with everthing by just clasping it in "his loving hands", which "he does"....

It may be a state similar to quantum tunnelling where god could be linked to different places..

My current outlook

Today I'd be embarrassed by this apologetic.....why?

For one it poses a great deal of unknowns....how did I know the Christian god exists?....what reason is there to even speculate about it in comparison to anything?....of what basis can I say it's linked to anything?....

My former apologetic is similar to a conspiracy theory where baseless answers are stacked on each unknown axiom to bandage the question..


#2 Is hell for satan,people or both?

Hell was originally meant for satan but the sins of men was so great that people got picked into the list.........how come?

Well think of it this way,you have a wonderful kitchen stacked with dried fish and in every/or atleast my kitchen there is a trash can where anything rotten/spoilt goes....
So let's say one day you noticed that one of the fishes was rotten....Well then into the trash it goes....and then you inspect the remaining fishes for signs of decay....any rotten fish qualifies for being disposed of....

So god also inspects "his" children and anything rotten is disposed of and/or secluded from the remaining rotten-free fishes...

My current outlook

So people to "god" are like dried fish?

Dried fish are liable to decay regardless of your intervention....but following the story of the Christian god we have a situation where god could actually have a place where you could be "rotten-free"(which is heaven supposedly) but stops you from being in such a place....instead it keeps you in a place that will and can make you "rotten"...

It's similar to leaving a child blind-folded in the middle of a busy road then whispering the way to safety while all the while reminding the child that he/she has all the free-will to painstainkingly try to decipher those whispers and get the right direction or be run over...

your thoughts and conclusions about Almighty God does not matter and it changes nothing about Him.
If you fail to serve any praise God now that you are alive, you will definitely join the devil and his agents in hell fire.

He deserves to be praised because of what He has done.

He Created heaven and earth, gave us LIFE and He is still in control of all things. He can kill and He can safe, can you do these things?

God created d heaven(which you can see above), and d earth(which is right under your feet). So where is hell fire? Above or beneath?(it should be so large to contain all sinners). Who created it? God? When? My bible tells me that humans was the last thing God created, so when did he create the 'almighty' hell? Is it like a planet?(it should be larger than the earth), or is it inside d earth?

The Bible always describe God as Loving and Merciful. And we all represent God on earth. But then as a parent would you condemn or kill your child because of disobedience. No matter how your child offend you, you will still love that child. Now thing is, I don't think God will kill or condemn his creature to languish in hell fire for eternity because they disobey him. I think the hell fire mentioned in the bible is not literal. What do you think.

God created angels mainly to praise him,
in other words, He's praising himself.

because these angels are so terrified of him, if they don't praise him they will die or flushed down into hell.

so, if God can't praise himself who will praise him?

God has created you and I to serve praise Him.
see Isaiah 43:21. ( 21 This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.)

In my opinion, its not possible for Almighty God to praise Himself.
