GSM Arena had spotted a rendered image of the anticipated phone in China’s Twitter substitute Weibo. Another image appeared on the Internet on Tuesday. Nokia is truly making a comebak tto the smartphone world.

Spotted by NokiaPowerUser blog, the image appears to be more realistic and could be the actual image of Nokia C1.

According to the leak, Nokia C1 will have a five-inch, 1080×1920 pixel display. It will feature the latest generation Intel Atom processor. The device is also expected to feature 2GB RAM, 32GB storage and might feature a slim metal casing for a premium look.

Most interestingly, the image shows C1 running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

Earlier, Nokia CEO Rajeev Suri had confirmed that the company will re-enter the smartphone market once the contract with Microsoft ends over the non-compete clause. The contract will end in Q4, 2016.

Earlier reports claimed that Nokia will target the Asian markets including India, China and Europe. As part of the strategy, Nokia will unleash its global marketing campaign and official product sites by the end of the year.

Samsung has a new tablet device codenamed Tahoe that is in the works that will be equipped with an 18.4-inch HD display. They have quietly been working on new models in 2015 like the Galaxy Tab E, the Galaxy Tab A, and the Galaxy Tab S2. This new super-sized tablet could join the ranks in Samsung’s portfolio this year.

The Tahoe tablet appears to have the model number SM-T670 and will have a TFT LCD screen running at a 1920 x 1080 resolution. Helping keep things running will be an Exynos 7580 processor running at 1.6 GHz, 2GB of RAM, and at least 32GB of internal storage. Available information indicates Samsung is equipping the tablet with an 8MP rear camera, which should not be used in the middle of a crowd, and 2.1MP front-facing camera.

No information has leaked about a potential release date, a final model name or pricing. But lets just keep calm, cos this will be Bravo to the Game lovers.

The upcoming BlackBerry ‘Venice’ is gaining more and more attention. The device will be the company’s first Android-powered smartphone.

The leaked image above reveals the front side of the actual device unlike previous leaked renders. It shows an edgy device as previously rumored with a back software button. The company’s logo is along the top bezel next to what looks to be a front-facing camera and LED indicator. The smartphone will have front-facing speakers and an on/off button along with volume controls on the right side of the device. Allegedly, the smartphone will be released on AT&Tand T-Mobile in the states. No other details have been mentioned about the remainder of the world, but be patient.

This one goes out to those of you who are waiting to get your hands on Blackberry’s first Android-powered handset. Despite being an alleged AT&T exclusive, Evan Blass now claims that T-Mobile customers, too, will be able to purchase codename ‘Venice’ this fall.

It will likely include a 5.4-inch Quad HD display and be powered by a six-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor backed with 3GB of RAM. And there is even chatter that the handset will have a physical keyboard sliding out from underneath the display. That’s sure to make BlackBerry’s small-yet-loyal fanbase rally.

While the original ‘selfie machine’ (Xperia C) is no more, the Sony Xperia C4 does a pretty credible job at keeping the Sony tradition alive. The C4 provides you with a capable front-facing 25mm wide angle 5 MP shooter with an LED flash and an equally good 13 MP primary camera. The focus is clearly on the front-facing unit and the Sony does a good job especially with SteadyShot now making an appearance on the front camera. What is impressive, are those built-in software gimmicks that users can utilize, while clicking selfies to tweak their images to perfection.



3. HTC Desire EYE
The HTC Desire EYE grabbed a lot of attention when it was announced all thanks to its large 13 MP sensor that sits not only on the back but also on the front. What accompanies this 13 MP sensor is also a dual-tone LED flash. So not only do you get great selfies, but you also get great selfies in any lighting condition whatsoever. Clearly the 13 MP unit on the back does not do any justice to the one on the front. Frankly speaking, HTC should have not even included it. And while the LED flash on the front is a plus point it is the implementation that seems to be the problem.



2. Samsung Galaxy S6/Galaxy S6 edge
While the Samsung Note 3 did produce Oscar worthy selfies, it was not all that great until Samsung decided to revamp its operations. Post this, we had a well made and well though off smartphone from Samsung called the Galaxy S6. It took Samsung two years to come up with something like this, but they sure did a great job on the imaging front (even though the sales expectations did not go too well). The 16 MP primary camera includes OIS and delivers great low-light shots, but the 5 MP sensor on the front with a f/1.9 aperture is equally impressive and even includes digital image stabilisation and real time HDR to make those selfies flawless.


1. LG G4
LG similar to Samsung has worked hard on the imaging capabilities of the G4. We were big fans of the LG G3, but it seems that LG’s extra efforts in building an extra special leather-clad device seems to have paid off. While we were impressed with the 16 MP primary module and its (three axis) OIS capabilities, the 8 MP front-facing unit simply blew us away. What it lacked however is the presence of the colour spectrum sensor on the front, which leads to white balance problems. Still then, the images it produces are nothing short of stunning, which makes for a great overall imaging package on a smartphone.
