Ur budget won't allow for the standard of 1.8l I'll suggest.... Worst thing that'll happen to you is buyin naija use wey you no know how much the life remain... 2.4l if plenty fine.... I've driven with v6 and i did fine, I've done with 1.8l as well, difference is negligible if you know what you're doing.... Long story short, make the car no sha worry you, 1.8 or 2.4....if you get a sound 2.4....which you will with 4m eod... Take it over 1.8 that is just there.

Sure it’s Nigerian used car I was referring to if I can get good Corolla or civic for that amount because of the fuel consumption. Because even the Lexus I’m using is 2L engine so it won’t make sense if I go and buy a higher 2.5L. The reason I’m looking for a perfect car for this job is mainly for fuel consumption and maintenance. This Lexus most times I make times 2 of the fuel money ( let say I buy 20k fuel I will be making 20 profit after commission and everything ) although I’m still new to the business and I don’t know anywhere around Lagos. So that’s why I’m asking for car suggestion from the experienced driver here

4cyl 2007 will serve perfectly, i have one for sale now... Reason I'm suggesting it... Parts are cheaper compared to Toyota counterpart of same year.... Engine oc eod 2007 500k.... Toyota 900-1m....gear eod 300k...Toyota 700k...etc....sold my muscle sports last yr cus at the time i was broke, couldn't change the engine, it was 1.2m then.... So i sold the car 4.5 to a dealer.... Me and Toyota no get business again, unless I'm rich.

But the eod is 2.4l engine won’t it be consuming more fuel.

Please can you also specify why you said EOD so I can understand. Is it that the budget is too low or EOD would serve me better?
And also please what model of EOD are you also suggesting

Please I’ve been using my Lexus is 250 for bolt/inDrive for like 2 weeks now and I make like 20/30/40k daily (after commission and fuel) depending on how the day is and how much I can work for the day.
Now I want to get a suitable car for the job but I don’t know if I can get a good car with 3.5m to 4.5 which is my budget . I’m looking at Corolla or Honda civic.
Please house I need your advice on the suitable car you can suggest I go for within that price that can serve me for the job. Thanks and God bless you all

I will give it a try and see how it goes. I want to start by learning how to make use of map since I don’t know much roads in lagos. Please how will I register on bolt, I have an account with them already which I use when I want to order a ride, I want to know if it’s the same account or I will have to register as a driver. With what I have read so far, I will have to take the car for inspection so do they have any office in oshodi.

You'll be surprised your car if in good condition has better fuel efficiency than some 4 cylinder cars people use for ehailing.

My advice is for you to give it a trial. Start with Friday/Saturday/Sunday to see how it goes before you either call it off or add less profitable days.

And remember to drive gently. Cars with v6 engines can give you decent mpg if you don't slam your leg on the pedal everytime the red turns green and on the brake when the green turns red.
