i just checked for my cousin and he has been selected for futher processing
He has a wife and a kid of 4yr
he included it while filling the form but they are not legally married as he just paid the bride price
there was no party, no picture....nothing @ all
pls house is there any advice you can render?
can he go for registry now since he included it while filling the application
pls forumite, kindly assist

I sense you have a low self esteem like most Nigerian-bred men. Why has Nairaland become like a pseudo-relationship site/forum? Why do most of you Nigerian-bred men not give your ladies a breathing space? Always feeling the need to give the ladies advice but never working on your own flaws or addressing that adulterous demonic spirit that pushes many of you to start cheating on your gullible wives shortly after marital vows have been exchanged.

The other day, I read a thread in the politics section of one Edo PDP chairman who is clearly married - wedding ring on and everything - yet was sleeping with a commercial sex worker in a hotel. The commercial sex worker took a picture of him in his gullible state stark naked with his fat protruding beer belly looking like an overfed lion on the TV channel National Geographic Wild and posted it on the internet when he refused to pay her the amount they both agreed on.

This PDP chairman is doing what most married Nigerian-bred men are doing: sleeping around. People like you make so much noise about marriage and how your women should better themselves to make them more wife material yet you don't open threads to caution Nigerian-bred men on how to respect their marital vows and stop the incessant cheating and adulterous behavior which is very acceptable in chauvinist Nigerian society.

Why the double standard? it takes 2 mature adults who love and respect each other to make a marriage work. You can advice your ladies all you want and keep opening threads such as this day in, day out but if the men don't work on their flaws too, then we will continue to see an increase in divorce rates.

Lastly, I wish the same way the average Nigerian obsesses about marriage, they will obsess about ensuring their leaders give them constant electricity supply and constant clean running tap water. How do you people even manage to enjoy intimacy - smacking sweaty bodies against each other during the act - with all that heat in Nigeria and no constant electricity to run the fan or air conditioner to stay cool? Anyways, I digress......

Dis Guy: iTS NOT THE PROBLEM with nigeria, its the way bad customer service is treated everywhere in the world, if i get a bad experience i'll definitely tell anyone who cares to listen, same way if someone ask for my recommendation, it will be based on experience!! people dont deliberately say bad things about a 'certain' company for no reason!

You basically registered to post something in january and have gone on to post the same thing three times- how can wakanow help you get visa? if you have a nice experience with them say so and leave the exaggeration!

ifekayodee: the cost of an E-passport renewal is just 15k,u'd be given another in place of the expired one,though the processing is more or less like getting a new one..paying 50k for that is a scam..

I know I need the renewal but my question is
: if I do a renewal,they will cancel the old p and I hv a 2yr visa on that..is there gona be a problem @ the POE out there

DivaC: I used Wakanow recently, on my trip to London and I was blown away by their excellent customer service. Not only did they help me get my visa in record time they also called me to remind me about my flight prior takeoff. Their customer service is also one of the best I've come across in Nigeria, the way they empathised with me when I couldn't get good transit time was just exceptional. I also heard they have fast response times on their social media pages even though I haven't had cause to refer to that yet.

Am sure you work with WAKANOW..

Anthonymighty: Hey guys. I am confused right now after reading all this. In my own case, I was approved for visa on 27th of december 2012 which is some few days back. I'm suppost to pick up my visa at ikeja tomorrow. Before my interview at US embassy lagos, my passport was suppose to expire in June 2013. But now I already have a visa of 2 years on it, what do I do? Do I travel to the US with it because its an F1 visa and I am to resume in April which is just 2 months before the expiry of my passport. I don't know what to do if it is possible to extend it here with my visa on it or travel down in april and have it extended over there. Kindly advice please as this is really bothering me. Thanks

In my appointment i filled B1/B2 and in my DS form i filled B1 so that i can use it after conference.
