My Nisan Primera P12 CVT transmission has recently developed a problem the rev counter go almost to the last but the car only accelerates up to 40KM/H at times 20KM/H. What could be the problem? Please help.

My Nisan Primera P12 has developed a problem again the rev counter go almost to the last but the car only accelerates up to 40KM/H ay times as low as 20KM/H. What could be the problem? Please help.

Hi, I have a Primera P12 CVT automatic
transmission. It has developed a problem. The car does not move when D or L or R is engaged. I encountered this problem when I stopped at a robot such that I had to tow it home. Can you help me on the reason for this and how to overcome this problem. Please, please please.
