As far as tech commandments go, regular site backups, is a commandment that ranks high. If you read my previous posts about the Samsung Galaxy S10, you’ll probably wonder where it disappeared to after viewing the homepage. So I was manually editing the theme files using the theme editor, without backing up the theme data first as usual (which is a very bad idea). Thing is I made a mistake and was unable to recollect the original value of what I was editing and BOOM! My theme was broken. Initially, I was filled with fear and wondered what to do. I mean, how can a blog not yet 2 months old suffer such a fate. Luckily, I then remembered that I previously set up an end of the month, automatic, regular site backup plan using Updraft Plus. I was able to recover my site within few minutes and was up and running again. Though I lost the few posts I posted from December 1st, half bread is better than none and trust me, this bread is way more than half! All the Rumours So Far Though the manufacturer has yet to comment officially about the specs, price, and release date for the Samsung Galaxy S10, but there are enough rumors to give us an idea of what to expect Variants According to Android Authority, in September 2018, three model numbers leaked online which seemingly confirm that there will be three different variants of the Galaxy S10 Display Current Samsung Galaxy S10 rumors suggest a phone with a larger screen, maybe one that does away with the iris scanner in an attempt to make the screen-to-body ratio larger than the Galaxy S9 Plus. Three different screen sizes, a bezel-free and notch-free design, a 19:9 aspect ratio and a 1440 x 3040 resolution are all rumoured to feature on the Samsung Galaxy S10. An in-screen fingerprint is also expected. One thing you shouldn’t expect is a foldable phone. Not from its flagship Galaxy S10, at least. Gionee, a long-standing phone manufacturer, is reportedly in dire financial straits, and on the verge of bankruptcy. Gionee chairman Liu Lirong reportedly lost over ten billion yuan ($1.4-billion) while gambling at a casino in Saipan. But Lirong later told the Securities Times that he had lost over one billion yuan ($144-million), though the chairman claims that he didn’t misappropriate Gionee’s cash to gamble, but suggested that he may have been “borrowing company funds.”.... The recent rave in the tech world is that of 5G. Guess what? Nigeria says it will be ready to take on the technology by 2020. According to The Vanguard, The Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Prof. Unarmed Danbatta said, “while the country works to perfect 3G and 4G, we shouldn’t be left behind, as other countries are already in tune with 5G. We must also make efforts to get ourselves ready for the next generation network. ” According to him, to promote innovation and growth in this industry, as a requirement, “therefore, we must develop strategic policies, provide essential infrastructure, enhance competitive market, robust regulatory frameworks, focused compliance monitoring and enforcement mechanism, reform our spectrum access mechanisms, among others.” It is quite a lofty goal to aim for, seeing as there are still some parts in Nigeria where 4G is not functional. A 21-year-old hacker hailing from Manhattan, was able to steal about $1 million in cryptocurrency, with his SIM-swapping hacking scheme. According to the New York Post, Nicholas Truglia hacked into the phones of Silicon Valley executives to try to steal their cryptocurrency — and in one instance, pulled it off.
