MY POST UTME GIST PART 2

I got down at the complex and thanked the
driver, it was still drizzling and the floor was
messed up, what choice do I have? I thought to
myself, I started moving from one hall to
another searching for my hall, I kept asking
people for the location of Ehiametalor, but they
never seemed to give me the right directions. So,
I walked up to one of the elderly men engaging
in a conversation that seemed funny because
they were laughing hard before I cut them short,
he gave me directions to the building and I left
after thanking him. When I got there, the
officials or whatever they were said the hall was
filled up and directed some other people and I
to an isolated classroom. After about 10
minutes, a boy in the class said he was originally
told that he was to undergo screening before
entering the hall and we laughed at him, saying
we came for screening(post utme) and he's
saying we are to screen before entering the halls
for another screening. When it was on the verge
of causing a ruckus, the invigilator told us all to
go to the building the boy aforementioned. Lo
and behold, it was true, we had to check a list
pasted on the wall for our names and seat
numbers, I checked the first 10, my name and
the names of others wasn't there, at this point I
was already confused and scared, we decided to
go down to check if there were others and we
found times 3 of the total population of the
people upstairs there. I checked the list and
found out my name was on it, I felt relieved and
was also glad the man calling the names had not
gotten to number 154 which was my seat
number.
I quickly glanced through other people's jamb
scores and I was perplexed when I saw scores
like 286, a lot of scores ranging from 240-260 and
I had to swallow while holding the though;
"mhen, these boys dey vex o, shey na 90 I get to
score to buttress my low 215?" I shook off the
feeling and few seconds later I was called, I
signified and walked straight into the class.
There was this pretty girl beside me(don't dull in
saka's voice), I start talking to her and the SU
boy sitting at the extreme was just staring, I
decided to include him in the convo after I had
successfully written down the babe's pin and
mobile number behind my slip, he said he
scored 246 and was certain of scoring nothing
less than 80 in the exam. I looked at the babe
and looked back at him, and did *yimu when he
wasn't looking
At this time, the supervisors were already telling
us to settle down and in about 10 minutes, they
had already shared our Q papers and told us to
begin. Exam duration 1hr, number of questions
90 i.e 40 English questions and 50 general paper
comprising of physics, chemistry and
mathematics. I was like, "I don die today, na like
30 physics questions dey here o", I already
noticed our fine sisi sitting next to me chewing
hard on her pencil ( e don red ), as a sharp boy,
I was done with my English language part in 15
minutes, I jumped to answer all my math
questions skipping the physics and chemistry
questions. When it was about 30 minutes
remaining, I concentrated on the remaining two
and before I knew it, I heard 5 minutes
remaining , everyone shouted "Jesus"
I was already done with the ones I knew, I
started using my middle names and my
mother's middle names to guess the answers of
the ones I didn't know, our sisi's face had turned
red and she was almost crying, I laughed in my
mind(who say make u nur read, u dey do fine
girl take entice boys). We were asked to stand,
see men were still shading and the boy on the
extreme was smiling, I thought to myself
(correct guy, I dey see am for your face). He
extended his four-figure table to me and asked
me to write my number, I did so and we left the
hall.[/b]

I took a flight to the heartbeat of the nation on
that faithful day, 25th of July 2014. At the time I
got to the house in Benin, it was already raining
cats and dogs, and there was no one at home
other than my grandmother, I couldn't wait to
eat breakfast, I had to follow a neighbor going
towards the main campus. I was actually
surprised because I didn't see the long queue
which my NL colleagues claimed I would meet at
the main gate. I had to know what was
happening, so I started a conversation with the
dude in front of me after I joined the queue, he
said he was a purely bred edo boy, that he was
in school the previous day, and in the course of
the conversation, a slim, dark and gorgeous girl
walked up to me and said; "Hi, I love ur outfit, I
hope u read for this exam?" and I smiled
sheepishly and replied; "of course, are you also
here for the exam?" while holding the thought
(ahah, who be this one?) and she replied with a
warm smile "no, I'm a 400L student, I rep
accounting(her words verbatim) and I was like:
Bleep up o, shey this babe wan fall my hand ni?
(in my thoughts) and before I could say
anything, she extended a mini bill or pamphlet
and said she wanted me to have it and pray the
prayers on it, and possibly come to her
fellowship by 5pm that day. I nodded, smiled
and extended my hand to shake her, reassuring
her that I wouldn't miss it for the world with my
captivating but boyish smile. Well, I gave her my
contact, bade her farewell and went on. The
dude in front of me was like; "Nawa o, shey this
girl go talk say she nur see me? Abi me too nur
be person wey them fit pray for?" and without
thinking, I laughed out loud. Well, luckily for
me, one church bus like that offered to drop us
at our respective venues.
