The news of America formarly legalizing SAME-SEX marriage in all 50 states of the country didn't come as a surprise to me though. According to Wikipedia in 2014, 1.6 percent of Americans identify as gay or lesbian, and 0.7 percent considered themselves bisexual. but with recent developments, these figures are expected to 'sky rocket'.

But this is disheartning, because, in biology, living organisms exhibit two type of reproduction; SEXUAL reproduction and ASEXUAL reproduction. Sexual involves a male organism and its female counterpart, while Asexual involves only one parent. Notice that there is no provision for reproduction between same-sex. So how come, our mentality has so changed that we have now given 'NATURE REBELS' equal rights with those who follow the order of things? What special right has an homo?
Science and Technology ain't helping issues either. Now there are various 'artificial' methods of raising offsprings, and so these homo folks can reproduce more of their kind, thereby polluting the planet.

Next,We would refer to ourselves as 'HIGHER ANIMALS', but we fail to put in consideration that no matter how 'wild' an animal would be, he would never mate with its fellow sexed animal. A male goat only sleeps with a female goat, and we say we're better than goats?
We have become the 'wild' animals now, killing each other without consideration, ISIS, Boko Haram, Ebola and other demons which are all human inventions have plunged this planet into 'chaos'. Racism is now the order of the day to the extent Google algorithm labels us as Gorrilas.
Someone once said, "if God doesn't punish this generation, He'd have to apologize to the folks of Sodom and Gommorrah" that shows the gravity of wickedness that has taken over this planet.

It is up to us to redeem our 'Title' as Higher animals, it is up to us to prove to the animal kingdom that we deserve to put on clothes while they remain with their furs. It is time for us to stand up and come against every ways and methods these 'homo folks' are trying to make us rebel against the ordinances of nature.
Look at Mozambique, South Africa and some other 'American ass licking' African countries, they've joined forces with these folks to pollute this earth, let us not be like them, Nigeria has a unique history and even though things are not right with us, we're still known for our integrity and so, i dare us to be a shining example to other countries, let us be the light that other countries would look up to let us prove that we are not Gorrilas as they refer to us, but we are more civilzed people.

if the collective noun performs action, a plural verb follows, but if not a singular verb follows

1.our club is ten years old today ...this statement does not imply that our club performs any action...so we use singular
2.our club are going to Ibadan tomorrow.
here club refers to the members within the organization n since they are going (performing an action) we would not use IS but ARE in compliance with the rule.......as said in my text book*

Oh NO! That's where you got it wrong. Staff is both the singular and plural. Staffs is less frequent but is used to refer to more than one GROUP of people. E.g Senators and their staffs. Please search for it on google for a better understanding
