At the turn of the millennium, we were introduced to DacEasy Accounting, POS, Payroll and Order Entry. There were also Peachtree and QuickBooks. And of course Sage Line 50. Those were the popular ones. They were the darlings of Accounting Head hunters searching through the forests of the Tuesday Guardian (talk about plural dynamics; what happened to the earthquaking concept called Tuesday Guardian? Time perhaps).

Today the needs in Accounting technology have surpassed the fundamentals of generating a trial balance with all supporting schedules corroborating. All applications must be able to do this in order to qualify as Accounting software, even if semi-manually. Customer ledgers, those of vendors, employees, nominal ledgers for inventory, GL (chart of accounts), jobs and fixed assets, etc., are all common features.

Nowadays, organizations want more than the basics. Take for instance, a 'receipt'. Ordinarily, or should I say traditionally, this should be a simple acknowledgement that you have received a customer's payment or deposit. Hmmmn...but not in 2019, it's not. These days, clients require the system generated receipt to act as a reminder on what the customer is paying for, his cummulative payments on those specific items to date, the outstanding balance before and/or after transaction, cash location receiving payment and automated delivery of such to client via SMS, e-mail and print.

Absolutely no doubt about that. Whizzy is the best.

I stand unfettered in my assertion that the worst democracy is preferred to the most benevolent dictatorship. However, democracy needs to get it right by expanding the numbers of the informed people in the society. Unfortunately, they are few.

The Executive, the Legislature and the Judiciary need to be sanitized by the very same system that created them in order for democracy to make sense. Until the people are informed enough to insist on fine grained leadership, democracy will continue to appear unattractive.

My fellow nairalanders, I often see people bring their problems here in the hope of getting tips and advice from brilliant men and women in this forum, the good part of it is that we never respond with silence, we all treat the problem as if it was ours by giving out advice and encouragement. While others reply with kk, , , ,(Space bookers), but in all that, we still help that person in our own capacity.

Please, I am presently in a state of confuse as Nkoli Nwa nsuka would say. I found over 20 pieces of condo.m in my younger brothers bag of cloths.

I am current filled with rage as he is under 18. I don't know if I should report to my parents or confront him (but I fear It may end violently).

How do i approach this situation. Please, Nairalanders help me.
