Sophiemama: Madam na you Biko... See me laughing at this your ordeal and how your husband was sleeping, I laughed with tears running down as I remembered the day my husband chased these sheep until he fell yakata on the soak away slabs and injured himself, the Igbo saying " ochu nwa okuko nwe ada, nwa okuko new nwenwe oso". After that incident, we planted flowers that kill them the moment they eat those flowers. That's how we got rid of them. Please can you help with the picture of the flowers,I am interested. |

Send the girl to a boarding school, that was what my late dad did to prevent my step mom wahala. Just tell her you are sending her back to the village. The girl should be going to the village for holidays. Don't let her set foot in your house again, She will be happy about her going to the village. Don't let her know you are sponsoring the girl. The end will justify the means. |

africaBlogworld: Una sure say I go continue this story, because wahala don dey happen already, some people don cuss me like say na me do make Ghanians dey shout Nigeria must go.
I think it's time I close this chapter for this Chaos I see from even enlightened people claiming to have traveled far and wide yet behave like children is alarming.
I only came to share my real life story, but some people have taken it personal to the point of even calling out my sister, some are even cussing, saying weda I don travel before and all sort of things exemplifying why truly being a Nigerian is a cuss on its own.
I am sure if I was a white person, all this would be different, now I see that the divide in Nigeria is really deep. Continue please, we are learning and enjoying your write up. Don't give up. |

PeterObi4Presid: . U are a foooolish son..lol . I'm telling u what to do and the implications of what u are about to do, yet u are still capping . It shows u are not even a man, and u don't understand men.. probably u are a mamas boy who has been brainwashed by his mom . Wake up....ur father kmew what he did was wrong.....but u don't have to escalate the whole thing into disaster. even if he doesn't know its wrong the last thing he expects on a son is to tell on him.....u will lose the mans respect and love cos he will believe u are a very foooolish son... . The best way to handle this issue is to confront him like a man, and he will respect u the more... Don't tell on him...what if he had done it in the hotels outside ur knowledge wud u have known? Have sesne little boy.... don't be too emotional over women issues....u will grow up too and have better understanding of why men do certain things and the regret or torments they suffer from Follow my advice if u are a man. A man don't gossip, they confront and resolve issues.....gossip is for little stvpid sisters..leave it to them...... don't complicate the life of that breadwinner u and ur mother still have.... Nice idea, the man can open up to him and let him know the reasons why he did it. Probably his mum has not been allowing him for months.I am a woman I know what my gender can do. He should zip his lips on the matter,he shouldn't tell his mum at all. Very soon he will understand that it not easy to manage woman by the time he start the practical. Though I didn't support what your dad did and only you can correct him or ask him to continue depends on the case.Men are seeing a lot in the hand of my gender vis a viz |

Dancebreaker: Enjoy your tour, dude.
Sure, CH is very expensive but pay is good too.
Apart from skiing I can't remember anything exciting about Switzerland. Social life is quite dull. Their version of Deutsch is even less appealing than Austrian version. I thought Bavarian was terrible compared to Hochdeutsch but CH one takes the biscuit.
Your colourful description of Nigeria is understandable but how have we the 35 to 60 years bracket done better as citizens than our father's generation?
It's easy to point fingers but it takes a village to raise a child. It also takes a lot of people to make a country colourful as you described. May God bless you sir for this. It's not actually his fault or that of Kemi experience they say is the best teacher. No one can erase that in their mind.We should be mindful of all we put on social media,AI is picking it one after the other. We, in Nigeria feel bitter too, there's no how you will leave the shore of the country and not ask yourself why is Nigeria different? Agbajo owo lafi soya(we can do it together) , it's left to us.Everyone has one or two experiences about Nigeria.May God bless Nigeria because no matter what, there's no place like home. |

EreluRoz: What are you doing in the market as a man? Men that goes to the market are very stingy and aggressive. I dislike men that would open eyes to everything and won't allow women to be women peacefully.
You should have a woman maybe a market woman that get your things for you. It's not stinginess for a man to go to market, some men can bargain better than the women |
