Cuteness4real:
I have to join the forum to share my current situation. Maybe I can feel more better. I've always been an offline reader.

I'm a single mother of two. So far, I have been able to saved 300k. My house rent of 260k is experiring next month, my first son is entering secondary school in September. I'm getting too worried on how I'm going to meet up.
I'm into buying and selling business, some times, one may not sell out for two to three months. right now, I don't want to scatter this money Incase I can't gather it back before ending of next month. I don't want to default in paying my rent. Moving to cheaper accommodation is not an option. I love this particular apartment because the environment is lovely with nice neighbors. We're like families.

Pls, what's your opinion/suggestion/advice on this?

What kind of business can you advise me to quickly do to add little profit before ending of next month, so I don't go empty after paying my rent?
What's your opinion/advice/experience on sending a 9yrs old child to a government secondary school?
Because, if I can't afford our desired private school, I might send him to government sch.
Matured mind pls.
Sorry but I have a few questions to ask

1. Are you a widow? If no, then why are you a single mum?
2. What do you buy and sell?
3. Is the 300k all you have home and abroad?
4. Do you have relatives in your state?
5. Which money do you plan on using to start the new business if you pay rent and use the remaining 40k for survival?

Its from the answers I can know what advice to give you.

Shalom

I think it just boils down to you.

If I really loved the V6 I would have gone for it after a careful consideration of its drawbacks.
Foreign-used are usually better but doesn't mean you can't get a good Naija-used. Detailed pre-purchase inspection by someone who knows his onions is gold. Knowing a bit of the service history if available will help. E.g. Seahorse ATF in the transmission cheesy
I hear you on CVT. Not bad at all. You get used to the new feel.

Car is doing good, no complaints.
Thanks

Piyke:
Most GDI cars fair better with a catch can. It cuts the amount of oil vapors coming from the PCV and landing on the back of the intake valves. Not much of a problem on port injection engines, since the fuel washes over the back of the valves. However, it's a biggie on GDI engines. Using a borescope since the install, my intake valves now have a dry appearance and not a gunked up wet look, meaning less oil gets there now.

Totally get you on not going intrusive. Got the OEM stuff filter, and should make a video while at it.
Lovely thread you have created here Piyke. Was planning on getting the 2014 v6 but came across this thread and now I am conflicted between v6 and the 4cyl. I felt the timing belt was the only bad decision honda made in the v6 and is something I can live with. I don't know why I just dislike cvt transmission. Subsidy wahala and cost of fuel is not really an issue for me.

Also considering the problems you mentioned with 2013 and 2014 should I go for 2015 above instead and maybe consider Nigerian used? Bearing in mind that I want to keep my budget as low as possible.

How has your experience been so far and what advice would you give me. How has maintenance been? Is it still a good choice to go with the 9th gen accord today?
