nurez305: you can watch everything for free without any VIP subscription if you download the app specifically for tv/android box. It will only prompt you to bind your account with your mobile phone, cancel the prompt, don't create any account and you can stream anything you want to stream. Bit that only work for the android box version but for mobile version, it requires VIP for all the VOD Where can I download that particular one you're using. The android box versions I've downloaded all require become a member to play movies and shows. By the way, I'm not logged in, neither have I created accounts. |

odiagabros: My experience with airtel has been awesome, i started using the ZTE ODU in November, my area had only 4g speed was around 20 - 30mps and 10mps on some very bad days especially between 7 - 10pm. This week i started saw 5g. The first two days was unstable but right now i think airtel did some good job as the 5g is stable now, speed is around 50mps. Same experience. I was over the moon when I started seeing 5G signals. My x25pro was getting max 15Mbps but now I get upto the 50Mbps. |

nurez305: it is directly from Airtel and not the network in your area. It happened to everyone here except if the person is not noticing it.
I am not sure there is anything you can do to that . Suffered from this alot. Speed drops significantly at night and I can only streamed on low resolution. Luckily, last week I started getting 5G signals and have locked to the cell. Consistent speed even at evening hours when network usually goes bad. I have been damned lucky. Even my x25 pro is getting consistent 50Mbps+ speed unlike before when I could only manage 17 or 20Mbps max on it. |

Czsamanie: So I did that sim swap yesterday. and I inserted into ODU after 24 hours. Then I did the normal monthly unlimited. However, I'm not even getting any signal again. The outdoor is just showing 2 White light. No green or blue. And it's saying no internet inside.
Don't really know what's wrong. I'm thinking that maybe the Sim swap isn't successful or active yet. But then subscription went through.
Help o.. Make 25k no dissappear Has your sim swap been effected?. mine isn't bringing network till now after doing it on Saturday. Feels like there's something wrong with the registration |

Help o.. Make 25k no dissappear Put the simcard in a touch phone and see if it brings network or not. I did my own sim swap yesterday, till now, the sim does not bring network. I put it inside a touch light phone and it says register failed. I dialed the number and it rings out from the dialling phone but doesn't ring on the phone its been out inside. Contacted the person who did the registration and he sent me a message that was sent to him that sim swap is successful and active. Dunno what to do now. Will probably just cut my losses and abandon the sim card |

Gshems: If you are having issues with low speed, buffering and all on the odu. I think the culprit is the airtel 50mbps dns server. Since last night I was having good speed from my speedtes but my videos were buffering, some websites won't open. It happened till this morning. Then I decided to use VPN, immediately everything worked perfectly. I disconnected the VPN to test if the network became better on its own but without the VPN I was having same issue. VPN seems to have solved my problem. Let's see how it goes VPN within the router or on your Devices? |

Unfaized: I can confirm that the ZTE variant does not experience that thing with the network going bad after disconnecting from electricity. Airtel has not happened to you yet. When folks were complaining about said problem, I was like "what is he talking about" because I didn't experience the problem even without electricity, then came Friday last week till last night before I figured it was the lack of electricity causing it |

Ex0rrcist: The zlt ODU doesn't use a separate ups, the idu supplies power to it. So only one ups powers 2 devices, the smaller white UPS I previously own only lasted for 50 minutes before shut down. Well, the ZTE has a UPS that supplies power to the ODU and the IDU. The preserve the power, I've been powering the IDU with the X25 Pro's UPS |

Ex0rrcist: You’re using the odu sim in the x25 pro, and it’s giving better performance? Wwawoo That was because for whatever reason, the ODU'S UPS needs electricity or else the speed and connectivity drops |

Ex0rrcist: Ok, how does it compare with the x25 pro speed, and what do you do when you’re off eletricity. ODU is more powerful speedwise. I pop the sim out and put it in my x25 pro |

Ex0rrcist: You’re using the odu sim in the x25 pro, and it’s giving better performance? Wwawoo Just realized that my whole problem is down to the UPS not being connected to electricity causing the problem. My light gets rationed so I have to rely on the UPS which for whatever reason affects the network speed and connectivity if it's not connected to electricity Getting consistent 50+Mbps since light is restored and I connected everything to the ODUs UPS via electricity. I was using the x25 pro's UPS to power the IDU without running it via electricity. |

frank155: I don't think this refuse to browse is a position problem (network).
I think it's directly from Airtel. For example, I have been enjoying my ODU for a month plus but from last Saturday till this very moment, it's been a nightmare.
I even called them and they said it's been fixed but here we are. Bro!!!!! That's what I'm facing, I'll run a speed test , it will take forever to start counting then I'll get 350kps, it will enter 1.5Mbps and settle at 10Mbps. Next test will end up settling at 40+Mbps. This inconsistency make it hard to stream. I've had to ditch my ODU now, locked my x25 pro to a cell to be able to stream. |

ANIKUDI: I faced similar issues on my ZTE ODU when I got it last week, after it was installed, it connected without internet access, the installer had to restart it for it to connect, then after that it went off again after the installer had already gone, so I called him and he told me to restart the device again, I did that all through that day but it still refused to connect on checking the ODU dashboard, I noticed the Sim number showing there is totally different from the one I registered.
So I contacted the Airtel Office, they initially said the fault was from the installer that he might have installed someone else device, until I proved otherwise by showing the device IMEI which matches what I snapped at the office after payment. So they said the error might be that the device was initially registered for someone else but didn't go through, before they used same device to register for me, so the number is clashing.
I requested for my registered line to be converted to a physical Sim, since I saw it was active and tied to my Airtel account on the app, but to my greatest surprise, they said it doesn't support physical Sim. I just laughed it off, and took pictures of the Sim slot and sent to them, but they now said it may not work. I literally had to snap the pages on their manual that indicated it works with both eSIM and physical Sim, and the use of physical overrides the eSIM functional which makes the device make use of the physical Sim directly.
I had to further prove it to them by inserting my previous Airtel 20mbps unlimited Sim in it and told them that it works. They now called me the next day to speak on a conference call with their supervisor to explain my case with him, after a few hours later, they told me to go back to the office and try to get the physical Sim, but on reaching there they said NIMC portal was down. So I opted for a roadside SIM swap of the eSIM since it was weekend and I didn't want to wait to come back on Monday.
The Sim swap was successful and I have now installed the physical Sim into the Sim slot and it is working fine now without any issues or interruptions.
If you have eSIM registered for you already, just make sure first that the eSIM number issued to you is active, then take that number to any Airtel outlet and request for a SIM swap. Most Airtel staffs are not aware of this simple solution. Mehnnn, that's just messed up. So I have the esim number with me but it looks like it isn't active at the moment. Will a sim swap be possible? How much did the sim swap cost you? |

NSEstudent: I like how the external Sim is working.
Those routers were originally made to use physical sim. Na Airtel wan use am do restriction.
The reason I suggested band lock is because, since yesterday that I started trying the locking stuff, I have been experimenting and all the better cells in my router are on the same band. The esim with Airtel is highly flawed, from the activation to occasional network loss. When the esim was still working, I'd get "no Internet" out from no where, but when I put the physical sim innit, it works very well. I pity those who have this issue but don't have the physical sim to make up for it as you'll now have to wait for hours before the esim comes back online. Will keep trying with the band/cell Lock thing. Maybe there's just something I'm missing. |

NSEstudent: You can do band lock instead. Did the Band Lock. Results aren't that impressive. Funny that locking cell on my x25 pro has given me increased and consistent results. For some reason, my ZTE ODU has been acting up. I noticed the esim has stopped working completely, I know my way around the esim so it's not some settings. what I'm now using is the physical sim. I looked up the esim and realized that it's not active anymore. The name and Nin attached to it has disappeared from where it usually displayed on the myairtel app. |

williams85: your ODU is picking different cells at random. Just do a physical cell locking and have peace of mind. I did l cell Lock, locked to 3 different cells individual but for some reason, the speed on them seems to range between 16Mbps and 30+Mbps max. But when I leave the cells unlocked, I get upto 50+Mbps. Few days ago, it wasn't a problem but over the weekend, that 50+Mbps is very rare. Frustrating. |

Gshems: connect to the 5g ssid Anyone else having network inconsistency? I get 40Mbps and then it jumps to 5Mbps and sometimes even 700Kbps and then settles at 30 or 20 Mbps. This has affected streaming massively as it buffers alot. This has been happening over the past few days. Prior to this, I was getting consistent 50+ Mbps even during evening hours when the network usually goes kinda bad. |

It's also nothing like the ZLT ODU's interface. It's so basic and annoying. I can't even see what network type (5G, 4G) I am on, or signal strength. I really don't understand it. Is there any other ip address for advanced settings? I am currently accessing the interface via 192.168.18.1 Use 192.168.254.1 |

Emmyjames: Please does anyone know how to fix this Sim switch option for the new ZTE ODU routers. The option to switch was initially available but it greyed out after clicking it and refused to come back even after multiple resetting of the device. Toggle the sim switch option again or better still, if you have access to the sim card port, put a sim card in and it will reset what you did. |
