A software firm is urgently seeking entry level Java programmers for a one year internship.
Candidates must have a working knowledge of the fundamentals of the Java programming language and must have developed programs at his/her instituations of higher learning. Candidate must have good knowledge of some or all of the following java api's. Candidates must have recently completed OND and is looking for a place to do his/her one year internship.

- Swing, JDBC, servlets, JSP, JSF, I/O, JAXP e.t.c

The following requirements will be an added advantage

- Knowledge of multithreading and socket programmming.

- Strong Analytical skills.

We are working on a new front end UI for one of our products.

As a Front-End Developer, your job responsibilities will include the following:
1. Must Have knowledge of Html, CSS, Typescript, javascript and ReactJS

2. Convert Figma designs into front end code for the User Interface using ReactJS.

3. Use GIT for version controlling and managing codebases with multiple developers.

4. Write code to invoke Rest api.

Knowledge of ReactJS libraries like Redux could be an advantage.

The API developer will be needed to design and implement web services following the RESTFUL architecture using Spring (Java EE) platform.

Specific tasks will be

1. Define REST endpoints and resources.

2. Write code implementing the secured end points. End points will invoke mock versions of business services.

3. Write Unit test for the REST Controllers.

4. Write Integration Test.

5. Write system testing using Spring RestTemplate.


The API Developer will work with our development and user experience teams.

Required Skills

- Has some experience designing software and product architecture.

- Write clean, organized, and well thought out code.

- Has experience developing rest api's using Spring (spring security with Json Web Tokens).

- Has worked with relational database technologies Oracle, SqlServer e.t.c and ORM's hibernate, OpenJPA e.t.c

- Has experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)


Nice To Have Skills

Familiarity with React or any HTML5 front end technology.
