I have a Rover 75 2.5 engine and i think it's a nice car but the parts are a major problem especially when you have it in Nigeria, i always go home with some essential parts each time i come back to Nigeria But i don't know much about other Rover cars |
Hmm i don buy soda and a bucket of pop corn it's like an action flick |

ell77:It was in Enugu my sister, it took the might of the rich and influential people of the town to realise, though some people opposed it but they couldn't do a thing about it i am not going to say my hometown here ![]() |
So many people are saying this is 2008 and so on, but forgetting the crucial thing, we are Nigerians for Christ sake!!!! a country where religion is the sole decider of things. Why do we still have shrines in Yorubaland and Hausaland or in everyother part of Nigeria? Some one said that the Igbos are the most primitive people in Africa because of caste system! that reeks of ignorance. caste system is all over the world yes i said all over the world including your darling Europe, do you know about "Gypsies"? they are treated worst than blacks in Europe but if anybody wants to learn more about this then check this wiki link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caste_system But i am not supporting it and it should be abolished world wide completely, it was abolished in my home town about 15 years ago with a get together dance and merry making to mark it |
Biko achoghim ka unu si n'izuta utaba banye n'ime ahia ![]() |
@ seabiotics My dear friend!! my point is that Nigerians value English speaking ability more than qualifications, a lot of people will prefer a sweet English speaking doctor to a "cut and join" English speaking Doctor because the general consensus is that if you can speak good English then you are learned but that notion is deceptive because a lot of good Engineers, Doctors, Technicians etc. are without work all because of the way we glorify English and if we don't put a stop to this then we are doomed I was like that until i left the shores of Nigeria and came to a place where my English language doesn't matter, You can be so good in English language but if you don't know what you went to school for you are a dead man in Europe because nobody will give a hoot about your fluency in spoken or written English. It might be a plus in your CV but not a guarantee at all We should be encouraging our people to dedicate more time to learn their careers instead of learning English to impress Yes there are many Nigerian professionals out there making impacts in the world with the education they acquired from our country but they are not of our generation and that's a shame |
I am going to qoute you here my friend!! seabiotics:the post speaks for itself i need not add more |
