1) Start Excel in safe mode and verify whether issue re-occurs 
        Hold Windows key + R. 
        Copy and paste, or type the following command in the Open box, and then press Enter:
Excel /safe
Note: There is space between Excel and /
2) Delete contents from XLSTART folder and check if it works.
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\XLSTART 
3) Uncheck DDE for Excel and then try starting Excel and verify the result.
Open Excel, click on the Office button, Excel Options, Advanced, General and uncheck Ignore other applications that use Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE). For more detailed information take a look here- microsoft excel repair utility: https://www.repairtoolbox.com/excelrepair.html

Create a new query that is based on the table. Name the new query Query1.
Create a field that is named
TableName.* to the query.
Note Do not add any other fields except
TableName.*.
Save the new query.
Use the new query to select the fields that you want.
