i can't even check the status of my application anymore. keeps saying "request not found". is anyone else experiencing this? priscaebuka21: Good day everyone please I am 25 weeks pregnant and I submitted my Brazil tourism online application form and also submitted the delivery receipt two days ago but the status shows “in review, wait for email “ but am yet to get any email
Also among all the requirements for tourism visa I did not submit my company introduction letter because even up till now am still waiting on them to finalise the letter and also did not submit evidence for flight reservation
So I want to know if it will cause me visa denial And how long it will take for embassy to respond
Also want to know if anyone has applied while pregnant before and if it was approved
Thank you in advance |

same as indicated on their website. quite a list but nothing out of the ordinary. i think someone posted the how to apply up in this thread. check it out. going alone. i did mine in lagos. they have an office in v/i. submitted my docs via courier as that was what the embassy requested. YungLasaint: Alright, thank you very much.
Another one, what was the requirement when you started the process?
Will you be going alone or with your husband? I want to know so I can prepare well.
Do one need to go to Lagos or Abuja and submit the documents themselves or can I use a courier agency for that? |

just start. i started the process at 2 moths and I am in my 5th month now and I am yet to get an interview. i am showing already so na God hand I de so. i will say just start now. yours could be different but typically, it can take 3 months upwards to get them to call you for an interview. hope this helps YungLasaint: I just stumbled on this thread because of my friend who informed me about the advantages of giving birth in Brazil.
It seems over the years a lot has changed and it's getting more harder to get a visa.
My woman is a few weeks in and I wanted to start the process now before the stomach shoot out. From the information I have read here I want to ask. What's the average month one can wait for a visa status to be updated?
Why I said so is because the more we wait the more she's getting closer and I don't know if they will frown once they notice her stomach is shooting out.
POF isn't an issue as I'm a freelancer which means I can work basically anywhere. I want to know how's the process like now?
Do we need a separate application form?
Our wedding is coming up early next year, and we wanted our honeymoon to be Brazil. Then we can shoot two birds with one stone.
Will that be possible? |

i got same message. it is very tiring at this point. one doesn't even know what is what anymore Ishaq96: Please I got this message, after submiting my visa application, any one got this message? And what do I do because everything was submitted correctly or is it a generic message?
"Kindly see information on Visit Visa (VIVIS) application procedures and requirements and update your online visa application form accordingly, updating also the protocol page in the E-Consular (appointment request)" |

Thank you very much. you have been helpful Griot77: No, I waited for their email instruction asking me to send my documentation to the embassy. You can't send documentation to the embassy without that email instruction which you also have to print out like a bar code on their appointment booking site. That bar code is very important. |

honestly. you get those mails and it is as if you missed out on providing an important document. let's wait and see CindyByFine: I got same this morning oh....by 1:00am.
Honestly, I am tired at this point too.. because why the unsolicited emails? Does it mean I missed something or what in my application? |
Travel › Re: Giving Birth In Brazil by Ronke04(f): 11:43pm On Oct 06, 2024 |
you mean you sent your physical documents without a mail asking for it? and it was accepted at the consulate? please clarify. maybe this is what a lot of us are missing. thank you Griot77: I've gotten 2 different mails from the consulate in the last one week, both mail looks generic and not telling me anything specific to my application. Nothing missed out, in fact I'm a bit scared that I overpride more information and details than I should and my application is for Renewal of VIVIS.
Let's wait and see, maybe they have a new system or team.
Also I submitted my online application few days before sending my physical documents.
I pray for the best for all of us. |

thank you. my travel date is next year. appreciate your response belovedmimz: Hello, it's usually at the end of the application. If you're just applying now, it's assumed your travel date is later than November 1st 2024, so you're okay as is. The email only applies to those who have already submitted, awaiting decision and travel date is before November 1. |

permit me to ask. did you send your physical documents to the embassy after the online application or you waited for it to be requested. i have submitted all mandatory documents but I keep getting a mail from the consular listing the mandatory required document. i am really confused at this point. i have gone over my application several times but cant seem to find where the problem could be. kindly assist. thank you MsKay04: Hello from Sao Paulo
I've been here for a few days, and the weather is COLD. I guess I'll get used to it.
I got an airbnb but still on the look out for a decent accommodation (couldn't get a place for less than 3,600 Reais).
Brazil is a lovely place; at least the few places I have been to since my arrival. |

belovedmimz: Yes, that's what you'll have to do if your travel date is before November 1st (except for events that cannot be postponed/shifted). New itinerary, new travel date with bookings, new accomodations bookings, also don't forget to check duration of your travel insurance. Re-upload and get new protocol page then do the needful. All the best! pls can you help clarify this new protocol page matter? i have been looking for it on my portal to no avail. thanks in advance |

hephzibah003: Hello everyone,
Please I received this email from the embassy. I think it is a generic one, although I had sent a follow up email on my visa application which is probably why they sent this email.
I am trying to fully understand what it means especially the concluding part. Does it mean that if my intended travel date has passed as a result of the long time the visa process has taken, I will need to book a new flight date and also hotel reservation and re-upload same online?
Please, those who have gotten their visas, did you have to do this after your initial travel date passed?
I would appreciate some guidance, please. Thanks. I found this a bit confusing as well. can anyone help with clarifications please? |
