The problem is things in 2009 and 2012 are different from now. I was speaking from recent experience as I just got my son's passport in MAY 2018. My husband took all supporting documents from Nigeria to the uk after I filled the form then sent it to Durham. The passport was sent to me in nigeria via DHL. The passport was still done in the uk but the application was technically made from Nigeria. On the passport there is no place of issue because now all passports are done in the uk.[/quote

Good... the point is the child is automatically British just as ur recent experience ... case close ....
expect there are other things that the daddy is not telling the ogas in the house... also the daddy... briefly mentioned something abt step child parole.... in one of his quotes.... so........

l'm done with this... ooooo

That information is only for people applying in the uk. Please don't confuse the poor guy further
It ok..
But all i kn is that I adopted a child from Nigeria in 2012 before Nigeria name was removed from the adoption country list... the child never lived in the UK and I got her british passport in the UK after registering the adoption at the UK child adoption registered....using the postoffice form and I submitted the necessary documents... I was later contact via phone during the application process for further questioning..... so my experience.... somx how u got ur passport matter as well ... and the immigration assess every1 on individual bases. Also my nephew was born in Nigeria and the daddy as a british citizen got his british passport in the UK and took it to Nigeria which the mummy later got the 2year spouse visa... that was in 2009..No DNA required ...becos they are legally married for 4yrs b4 the birth of the child and they are both Consultants hunband work in UK my sister was working in nigeria ....and I was also resident doctor in one of the busiest hospital in the UK during my daughter's adoption process. #ifuknowuknow
Or the brvs need to give u ogas in the house .... more information in regards to ....this....

Could you tell me how to go about it please. I thought about that as well. The whole thing is
very confusing. Please note, I am a British by naturalisation. How long ago did you applied
for your son ROA. Did you picked up the ROA in the UK or in Nigeria ?

Thanks Ibkbosson.
So what do you suggest I do?

You guys are asking me to go down the spouse route we all know what that too entails and how long it takes. Earning £22,000 and £18,600 is almost the same thing and its not easy to get that and even if.... it will take time to gather payslips and all that.... My hubby and I has also tout about that that's why we tout of giving the visitor visa a short....

I have never overstayed ever since I have been going to the UK I also put to bed I still came back to 9ja and also paid the NHS bills and I waited about 3yrs before trying to apply again because I want my child to go and visit my uncle and his family and also to let my child see where she was born and other beautiful places alongside visit her father ......

At least they should consider all this and see a reason why they should give me the visa now.....

I am just so disturbed because I don't want to be refused.... Please what do u suggest I can add to back up my application i m a student doing masters..... Is that enough.....

Please guyz help me out..... That's why I ve come here
Well.... In my opinion .... it depend on how your hubby obtain his stay in the UK... you need to think ... before you start saying I wish havent...
1st. You can apply and be silent abt your hubby if you did not mention abt him in your 1st visa apply application... (with that u have not lie or you might be having issues with him at the time of this application which you can easily explain in future if you want to apply for spouse visa)
Go by you want to visit ur uncle and have holiday with your child in a country where the child was born... provide all necessary docs including ur skl docs, child birth certificate the NHS payment receipts and hope for the best....
pls if ur hubby ILR is not obtained in a straight forward way (hope you unstd wat I mean) pls dont include the man ooo...
My own experience... not visa related becos I am british but... this people can digg things oooo beyond ur imagination... and can link up things ooooo.
