I spent my 2024 christmas holiday in Ilorin and I must confess the roads were very good, new roads had also been constructed. It was indeed a depature from how it used to be.

Which area did you visit please ? The major roads that are good are the roads that visitors will pass through ( from airport straight to unity, passed through challenge, to government house to tanke over bridge that people are not using cos of the fear of bad construction ). Now go to Sango, ganiki, tepatan, Micheal imodu axis, kilanko, basin, tanke awolowo,alao farm area and so many more,these are the areas masses live with BAD ROADS. Now go to Kwara north and many other local area they enjoy nothing or Little. The govo only concentrate on state capital. You keep building fence and destroying shops without building shopping complex. When you gather 10 people and 8 of them condemned the action you should know it's waste of scarce money when people are suffering.

My people the truth is hunger and pain are not felt same. These people never know the level of hunger in the country because of our suffering and smiling behaviour. Just imagine what happened in Ibadan the stampede that leads to over 30 children death. So painful and saddened at the lost of the innocent children. Until we rise up and stop these people they will never stop. This kind democracy is just enriching few and putting millions in hunger. Prayer have failed us what we need is action. Oga seun please tell your mods to situp. For some times now some news that are days old I keep seeing on nairaland front page. This particular news have started seeing it like 3 days ago. Try give us news as e dey hit. Let others copy news from here and not the other way round

The main problem is most of the people incharge of reforms, forming curriculum, educational materials are not on field anymore and can't understand the real situation in present class rooms. How can professor's be forming curriculum for primary/secondary school. Secondly government should make teaching more attractive, teaching in Nigeria has being so ridiculed and seen as a mere job. Increase teachers earnings and up the qualifications required, frequent real training. Be true to yourself by coming down to the level of the public schools, let me explain small, Kwara state for example engaged some people that trained all primary school teachers for 10 days on modern way of teaching with tab. It's a good development but can't be effective for long cos 1- most teachers especially in rural areas are not using the tab effectively due to not been computer literate and are used to old teaching methods. 2- the use of tab requires modern board but most schools still uses chalkboard. The time frame for teaching some topic is too small cos you can't compare the level of exposure of pupils in city and that of village which affects teaching and learning. 3- many people teaching are just doing it cos the take home is too small and THE SUCCESS OF A GOOD CURRICULUM IS IN THE HAND OF THE TEACHER.
A car with beautiful body but bad or weak engine will not function well.
Work on how teachers will be dedicated to their works cos they are the ones to discharge what is in the curriculum. You can't force a tired horse to run faster.

Just work hard and wish for luck naija is far gone. How long will it take to start seeing the benefits of subsidy ? It's over 15 months and things are only getting harder for the masses only the leaders are reaping and living large.
