Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Andela: IT Training And Job by Rorschach: 1:17am On Mar 20, 2015
Also, Andela have done extremely well to pioneer TRUE software engineering education in Nigeria but with around 10 Fellows being admitted from a pool of ~500 applications per Class, it seems the selection process is too stringent. With the backing and financial musculature that Andela boasts, I think they could and should open that door just a bit more, or partner with corporations in the U.S. and elsewhere that would do the same commendable thing they've done here.

Does applying on deadline day mean an automatic NO? I did well in the online test (80, 78, 89) but took it very early on the 15th which was the deadline for Class VII applications..could that explain the regret mail I saw earlier today, or were my scores too low?

Why are 95% of the jokes here boring & sex-related? Is sex and erotica the only thing you Nigerians think about?

Sorry, excuse me..I'm a time waster? So, I wasn't ready then..now I am, you call me a time waster? How interesting..I wish you knew who you were talking about..I'll give you this hint: usernames can be very deceptive on Nairaland..I RARELY ever come on NL, it's just this data palaver that got me here, otherwise.....esp. now I'm about to get my very first Droid, non-Tecno of course. You have no idea who you just insulted, EnterPRO..elsewhere on social media & the blogosphere, this "time waster" is a monolith. That's the much I'll tell you. Please, try to put your prices somewhere accessible so NL newbies don't have to read the "first page and the last four pages", esp. since that sounds very ambiguous and quite stressful. So, please can I get a civil, non-Nigerian answer to my questions now? Thanks...from a "big boy" (as they say here) potential customer. And yes, I'm testing the waters with that 250mb..I've been bitten badly by the many sharks around these parts..hopefully, the scamming ends here and I can be comfortable doing buisness with you for the months/maybe years ahead.

I need 250mb on MTN payable with credit..first what's your price list on ALL the networks? And since I can only reach you on Whatsapp right now, what's your number(s)? What is this whole daily/weekly promo about..what are the rules and how can I join? THANKS in advance for your answers.

EnterPRO:

sorry, I meant prices offered on other similar NL threads

Ok..seriously now though..how does your service work? 1.5 is a bit on the high side for 1gig..as a prospective customer I'd appreciate a discount..WARNING: I can be VERY loyal. Be wise..you could be sitting on a goldmine without knowing it.

EnterPRO: please remember that we offer price matching.

this means that if you find it cheaper elsewhere, we will sell to you at that price too.

thanks

Can I trust this service? There are MANY scams out there..I need to be sure oo..I want to try out the service on glo first..the 1,5 for 1gb is kinda high..on Airtel via d BB link it's 1k for 1.2gb..oya do the price matching smiley

Just a friendly warning for everyone out there. Like all the other Internet data bandwidth SCAMS MTN is famous for (such as the "no data cap" Hour Browsing packages), the Happy Hour Data Bonus Plus is yet another way MTN shows its hatred of Nigerians. You get 'bonus' for 2 weeks that you'll NEVER be able to use, even when you do it all right, and dash MTN N200. Yeah, N200 is small money, but imagine millions of Nigerians falling for the same scam.... I think MTN should stop policing these people who use all sorts of browsing cheats to game the system, because MTN themselves are as corrupt and wicked, and haven't repented after those N30k SIMs back then. They just hate Nigerians so much. Personally, I use Glo for my Internet access needs on my computer; MTN on my phone. But after this I'm going Glo on both. Well guess what? The bastards just sent me an SMS telling me my Happy Hour Data Bonus had expired. When I never got to use it. Pouring salt on a fresh wound. No problem MTN, two can play the scamming game. Notice how Jide SM et al conveniently ignored my first post on this matter? It's all good, MTN. You want to play dirty? No problem. In sum: people, please don't EVER add that N200 to activate the Happy Hour Data Plus whatever. It is yet another MTN scam. Thank you.
Phones / Re: MTN Customer Care Thread by Rorschach: 1:33am On Oct 19, 2013
Why are my data bonuses not being deducted from anymore? The 10MB that I get for recharging >N100 just sits there for a week until it expires; my Happy Hour Data Plus has been stuck on 90MB for more than a week even when I rightfully browse within 12:30 AM and 4:30 AM, and it expires tomorrow morning. Even with these bonuses, every data usage is deducted from the main data account. What's going on?!
