Lol. Atiku has no problems with funding as far as 2027 is concerned. A lot of APC governors will secretly fund his campaign. Someone just donated anonymously some few days ago and even Jide Sanwo-olu was accused by APC faithfuls to have funded Atiku in 2023. A lot of governors are secretly fed up with Tinubu's high-handedness and are wary of him after the Fubara debacle. They will be serious horse-tradings in 2027. All that talks about not winning polling unit is becoming stale. Tinubu lost Lagos and Osun but still won the election because a majority of his votes (5.6m) came from outside his region. Amaechi has a vast political network that goes beyond winning "polling units". The Buhari bloc loves him. Underrate him at your peril.

Una dey always like to make this man trend. He is mentally unstable for crying out loud and doesn't speak for the North in any capacity.

But this time around he is right. If states with 98% Muslim population decide to adopt Shari'a for rulings on social issues such as divorce, marriages, inheritance etc. I don't see how that is a problem.

Mind you, the Shari'a law provision is subordinate to the constitution of Nigeria. Even the highest Shari'a court ranks lower than state high courts. Moreover, A non-Muslim cannot be compelled to submit to a Shari’a court.

So I honestly don't see what all the fuss on Shari'a law is about. According to the Constitution, Nigeria is a secular state (Section 10 prohibits adoption of a state religion).

The Op. had to go down memory lane to educate us that failure to abide by FIFA rules attracts very severe punishment which includes points deduction and fines.

Nigeria also suffered a similar fate in 2017 for fielding a single ineligible player and fined as well.

So, if the DRC that fielded half a dozen ineligible players gets punished, why must their own case be different?

If FIFA finds them guilty and punished accordingly, heaven will not fall.
