The Lagos state police have arrested a man identified as Stanley Jegede,who is reportedly the caretaker of house 35, Adegboyega Street, Akesan, Igando.

He was nabbed for his carelessness which resulted in his giant dogs inflicting injuries on the skull of the child of Abraham Odia who is a tenant.

The sad event occurred in the late hours of Thursday, September 25, 2014 when the dogs aggressively pulled out the skull of four year- old Omoniho Isaac Abraham who escaped death by a hair’s breadth

The child is currently receiving treatment at the intensive care section of the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja, Lagos state capital.

In addition, two of the victim’s older brothers aged between 7 and 12 years sustained several injuries having jumped from upstairs in a bid to escape attack from the aggressive dog.

Daily Independent reports stated that Jegede and his two dogs had been arrested and detained at the Igando Police Station.

Speaking with correspondents of Daily Independent at the LASUTH premises, Abraham, father of the children, said that his wife went to buy something for the children, and that shortly after she left, the children came downstairs with their bicycles to play as he lives upstairs.

butanep: Any woman that can't cook is highly irresponsible and not also fit to be called a woman. It is part of the responsibility of a woman to learn how to cook as she is growing up either from her mother or foster-mother.

So when a woman fail to acquire the cooking skills as she is growing up, she has failed in her responsibility and therefore not responsible because she might end up producing children that are also irresponsible.

I dont believe it because majority of the women that can cook are also irresponsible and worst....your topic shd be Most women that cant cook are irresponsible

I get angry when with the statement " Men should teach their wife that don't know how to cook". That is ridiculous. If a woman don't know how to prepare a particular food the man like very much, that's a different case but to say she don't know how to cook... she is worth nothing,because she has wasted over 10 to 15 years to lean part of her responsibility...

A woman that can't cook clearly shows, she never assisted her mother in the kitchen or her mother don't know how to cook. That woman shouldn't be taken seriously because she will bring up children that are irresponsible as well.

Dapo777: Hmmmm,there is this girl I love and who loves me too very much,But there is a problem she is SS But I am AA, all our children would be AS But That's not the problem,the problem now is that am scared.

She told me she is among the lucky few SS that is living a good life. She told me she has never been hospitalized for any pain crises,she has only been hospitalized twice in her life Which was due to malaria,and I know she is not lying. She said her health keeps improving by the years That's she is getting more attentive, and It's only back pain crises she do have 3 times a month of recent and by taking her medications and getting a massage the pains would go after some few hours, no other sickle cellhours disease complications So that makes her lucky.

But my fear now is that will she live long? Does being a lucky SS guarantee long life (up to 70 years) I can't stand losing someone I love after years of being together in marriage, That's my only fear and am facing a serious dilemma, I just want to know,will she live long?
