This guy doesn't even have the moral ground to say this. Someone who is owing workers for undoing the right things. I just tire for this country. |
THE BUREAU | OPINION Considering the enormous challenges of insecurity ranging from kidnapping to banditry, armed robbery, ritual killings and other forms of terrorism bedeviling Nigeria, it is very important to observe safety measures in our everyday lives, especially traveling on the Nigerian roads. 1. Travel only during the day: Even though this does not guaranty 100 percent safety, it is better to travel and arrive during the day especially in unfamiliar terrains than arriving at night and survive at the mercy of God and chance. 2. Notify your close relations of your whereabout: This is not the period for surprise visits. It is very important that people notify their loved ones of their journeys (even short ones) to give them clues to follow in cases of eventualities. 3. Turn on Google Location service on your phone: This is very important because it will afford the law enforcement and your loved ones the opportunity to see the history of your journeys, places visited, time of arrival and all. In cases of kidnapping, people with access to the Find My Phone account on your phone will easily locate you and hopefully, rescue. Carry good identity cards or other approved government identity cards. This is very important in any case of mishap. It gives opportunity to helpers to locate your family members. 4. Try to blend in: Understanding the culture and other ways of life of the people you’d be visiting will go a long way to save you of harassments and appearing as a target to bad people. Bad people have a way of easily identifying new faces in town. 5. Get informed: Do thorough background searches about the place you intend to travel to. Ask questions like; the dos and don’t of the town, crime history, presence of law enforcement, hotel safety and many others. 6. Trust your instinct: Do not ignore warning signs from your third eye aka instinct of intuition. Many times, warnings from your spirit turns out to be correct. Source: The Bureau |

THE BUREAU As the 2023 general elections draws near, aspirants are coming up with strategies to woo over voters. Vice President Osinbajo is not left out. His support group earlier today, at Ibadan, the Oyo state capital distributed customized bags containing money to supporters. Earlier, the Vice President claimed that he’s the best man for the job. It is unclear if he was aware of the latest gift to the public. Rastaramsey:Perfectly said. He will be faced with the task of debt servicing, undoing the ills of Buhari and many other thing. The four years is too small. |
PrinceOfLagos:Reason he has been avoiding any PDP gathering for a long time. It's so obvious. |

The Bureau By Ohepo Ohepo Just like president Buhari, gov. Bello of Kogi state is mulling on the decision to give all available APC tickets for all the various political offices, to his loyalists in the forthcoming 2023 general elections. Inside sources said that the likes of Senator Smart Adeyemi representing Kogi West in the ninth senate and Hon. Hassan Baiwa Abdullahi representing Dekina/Bassa Federal House of Representatives, who are mulling on the decision to run for the seat of governor of the state may likely not be considered for another stint at the national assembly. This move does not go down well with other aspirants who had already declared their intentions to run for various offices both at the state and federal levels. Inside sources also revealed that some unhappy members of the APC are already in talks with other political parties to see if they will have the chance to run on their platforms. Another source who did not want his name in print, affirmed that Mr. Onogwu Muhammed, the Chief Press Secretary to Bello who, at some point was campaigning to represent the people of Dekina/Bassa Federal House of Representatives has shelfed his plans to pave wave for Hon. Paul Idris Gowon Haruna, the preferred candidate of governor Bello.http://thebureau.com.ng/2019/11/18/2023-yahaya-bello-considering-giving-all-tickets-to-loyalist-without-primaries/ |
Disclaimer: This post is not a paid post, neither is it a paid advertisement. I am doing this review on my own. https://i0.wp.com/thebureau.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/dstv-vs-tstv.jpg?w=700&ssl=1 So back to the topic, TSTV as we all know is the only close substitute to DSTV in Nigeria at the moment. In recent times, prices of DSTV packages has been reviewed upward and it is becoming increasingly difficult to sustain the monthly subscription of DSTV. DSTV packages with lower subscription fees are not attractive enough. Many times, people with lower subscription packages don’t get value for what they paid for. See the difference below: Channels Selection: Unlike DSTV, TSTV customers are at liberty to select the channels they want to watch and pay for them. It is like adding items to your shopping cart and paying for them at the counter. Subscription Pausing: Pausing of TSTV subscription can not be done on a consistent basis. It can only be paused for a month per subscription. But for DSTV, It said this will be upon request and a 48-hour notice that the account be suspended for a fixed period between seven to 14 days twice yearly. High Definition View: Unlike DSTV, TSTV channels are virtually all in HD. 4k standard. Customers does not have to pay for extra HD views like DSTV. Sports Channels: The only difference between TSTV and DSTV is just the Premier League matches. TSTV shows Bundesliga, LaLiga, FIFA World Cup and other football matches and tournaments. Music Channels: To a fairly good extent, TSTV shows very good music channels just like DSTV, but the likes of MTV and Soundcity aren’t on their platforms yet. Movie Channels: TSTV shows many interesting Hollywood movies than DSTV. Unlike DSTV that dictates the kind of movie channels that subscribers can watch, TSTV gives you the liberty to select as many movie channels and paying for them per month. I think DSTV with many African Magic channels still leads in the area of home movies. Weather Effect: TSTV, unlike DSTV does not freeze or craze during rainy or stormy weathers. Cartoon Channels: TSTV shows as many interesting cartoons as DSTV. News Channels: TSTV shows the likes of Bloomberg, Aljazeera, NTA, BBC and others, except CNN. https://thebureau.com.ng/2022/04/21/my-review-on-tstv-by-i-emmanuel/ |

A sad one. |
Those guys are there for their share of the money the ugly guy stole. All the local government workers are living and dying in penury. Erosion is swallowing a lot of buildings, many are scared because of the incoming rainy season. No local government worker receives pension or gratuity for years now. No light especially in Igala land. No pipe borne water anywhere in the Igala land. No access roads. Only the federal roads that are okay. And you wicked people supporting this demon are contributing to the death of many people. Where's your conscience? |
NGpatriot this is not the time for dry jokes. Pass your point across and stop being petty. |
