An APC member who happened to be a member of the Dekina/Bassa house of representatives candidate, Mr. Paul Gowon was caught working for INEC as an ad-hoc staff in the yet to be concluded Dekina LGA elections.

Odawn John as the thug is called was caught on camera posing with APC House of Representative candidate for Dekina/ Bassa Federal Constituency.


Odawn John is from Oduh Ofugo, an APC member who is also an INEC ad-hoc staff, posted to his own polling unit at Odu for the same election.


There was no Election in Dekina local government as all the ballot boxes were snatch and taken to unknown places by the APC thugs.


According to Hon. Usman Okai and the Labour Party candidates, cancellation of elections in all Dekina polling units is a must.


Odawn is one of Mr. Paul Gowon's most deadly squad member.


Meanwhile, petition to cancel presidential and national assembly elections in Dekina is gathering a lot of signatures already.

Comrade Usman Austin Okai rejects the outcome of the Dekina/Bassa federal house of representatives.

The election was marred with extreme violence. Highlight of the violent outing was killing of an APC thug who went on ballot boxes snatching spree by the men of the Nigerian Army.

Mr. Okai cited snatching of ballot boxes and intimidation of the PDP and Labour Party voters by suspected APC thugs and disrupting the process in over 20 units.

In a post on his official Facebook account, he alleged that the Kogi state APC have doctored the results sent to the INEC server overnight.

We Back Out From The Ongoing Charade In Dekina.

I have won Bassa Local Government. The INEC must not go ahead to announce another result for Bassa aside this.

We are aware of the pressure being mounted on them by some vested interests to rewrite and announce different results, as they have been doing for other wards across Dekina Local Government.

The INEC must stand firm and do the right thing because any attempt to upturn our results in favour of the APC will amount to subverting of the People’s will through the back door and INEC should not be used as a tool for achieving this.

In its entirety, we reject the ongoing rewriting of results in Dekina as that does not in anyway, reflect the will of the people as there were no elections in some wards being reported and votes allocated to the APC.

Dekina local government area of Kogi state is known for its electoral violence.

All day, thugs has been harassing and snatching ballot boxes.

Some areas, thugs dictates who people should vote for.

People who could not stomach the oppression went back home.

A thug was killed, while others sustained injuries when the encountered few men of the Nigerian Army.

The Kogi state 2019 guber election was adjudged the most violent election in the history of Nigeria.

Scores were wounded and many killed. Notable among the deaths were that of Master Daniel and Mrs. Salome Acheju.

Daniel was shot in chest by suspected thugs when he refused to vote for the person in power and Mrs. Salome was burnt alive by suspected APC thugs.

Daniel a 300 level student of Kogi state university in his final words before he gave up the ghost said "Vote, not fight". And then he was gone forever.

The children of Mrs. Salome Acheju no longer have anybody to call mother. She was murdered, burnt in a fire. The thugs stood guard and ensured nobody rescued her.

She suffered and died because some thugs wanted to please their pay masters.

I have been thinking and researching about what could have happened to the beings that once inhabited these places.

Should we (Earthlings) not be concerned about the kind of destruction/apocalypse that befell these places?
