Yes o
I think he use to check people's posts about there business. Then he'll later contact the person that he have something related to offer. God will soon catch him. You can't planted alubosa and be expecting to harvest vegetables. Iyán ogún ọdún maa n pada joni lọwọ felifeli
Stephenmoka4:
I wanted to do deal with him some time ago, after an escrow came he ran away.

Only him have all the Cryptocurrency, only him have all the wallets and payment system funds (PayPal, cash app etc), only him have excess airtime, only him have everything. I just know he isn't serious.

Thanks Boss
I've learned my lesson
EagleNest:
Well we learn everyday but it is like Night and Day naah. "Emmanuel Okeke" shouldn't be an Edo just like Emmanuel Akpan being an Igbo person is not likely. Nigeria never integrate reach that level ooo! Always watch out for those silent red flags or ask Google if in doubt.
CrimeRe: [Scam Alert] Beware Of This Guy Please. He's a Big Scammer On Nairaland by Royalfreshness(op): 7:08am On Jun 02, 2021
How i want to know that, Okeke must be his surname while his own name is Emmanuel. Some people later claimed where they were born and grew up as there State
EagleNest:
But Okeke is not an Edo name naah, could that not have raised a red flag for you?

I've reported the transaction to Palmpay, they said they'll get back to me if they need more info about the transaction that they're working on it. I've reported to Kuda fraud department, they said i should contact my bank to report to them. But to my own perspective, i don't really think both of them are ready to help....But it's important to me to save others not to fall victim, that's why I posted it here

Regards.
Seniorwriter:
@OP what legal action have you initiated towards apprehending this fraud guy?
Is his Kuda not linked to his real bank account?

I've learned my lesson now and I buy this your idea. I think that should be the next thing to be doing now. Video call and ID card. If your face in video call is not the one in ID card, transaction cancelled
vincentont:
What if that id card is a stolen one? You took precautions not to be scammed but you failed to do one simple thing and that is video calling. Once you are not sure of a transaction , just request for a video call and take a screenshot of the person. Sorry for your loss and we learn every day.
BusinessRe: . by Royalfreshness(op): 7:53am On May 28, 2021
I contacted both Palmpay and Kuda about this scene. They're just telling me stories
Stephenmoka4:
Wema

Kuda

Eco bank

VFB bank

Opay (paycom)

palmpay

V bank

Providus

Rubies

The list long, it's not easy getting your money back with banks listed there.

Worst, crypto currency

Well it's true
Scamming is what he do for a living
LiquidMer:
that I D card doesn't belong to him, not his real name, bank account has no bvn on it.. His just an old man late 40s.. His been in the scamming business for years...
BusinessRe: . by Royalfreshness(op): 7:46am On May 28, 2021
Exactly
But this one that details on his ID card tally with bank account details that he used to receive money. We don't know if we're going to be able to track him successfully, is just that most of all this banks are not ready to help this days
OSDD:
The guy is using different accounts for his crime... Makes it difficult to track....
CrimeRe: [Scam Alert] Beware Of This Guy Please. He's A Big Scammer On Nairaland by Royalfreshness(op): 7:38am On May 28, 2021
Lol
If you could be lucky to find legit person to trade with online, it's even more safer now than meeting in physical this days that kidnappers are almost everywhere. Well that's my own thought...May God continue to protect us
stupidmod3:

Bro i didn't ask anybody to help me track or catch a scammer here. I just posted this to save others to beware not to fall victim of the guy
Joysticks:
Whenever a NL receives a job invite he is suspicious of he will create a thread to ask for the genuineness of the company before he attends the invite. But you victims of scammers will first fall into the hands of a fraudster before you will be looking for assistance on how to track the criminal down.It is probably you have been discussing for weeks before you carryout the transaction.Sort yourself out.

We still have legit people here. I have transacted with many here. But it's hard to find. Also, we can't have large people here like this and be expecting everybody must trustworthy. That's why person must be careful of who to choose here to transact with. People are not worry about consequences anymore, they're ready to reap your hard earned money. If person can still scam you after dropping his valid National ID card that show his NIN and tracking number. It means some don't care what later happened
Michelle55:
This guys are making it impossible to transact business with others online, how do we know the genuine ones now?

Don't worry, karma will catch up with him!
BusinessRe: . by Royalfreshness(op): 9:33am On May 27, 2021
That's the problem o

That why I even said he must send a valid ID card that tally with his account details before I can send the money. But still, he later scammed me
CrimeRe: . by Royalfreshness(op): 9:28am On May 27, 2021

lilvicky68:
Not surprised..as big as nairaland you are bound to meet scammers. Though they are trustworthy ones..it isn't advisable to do business on nairaland..
