I've been testing an AI app called Folk for a few weeks and it's honestly different from ChatGPT and co. It's not a bot you open to "ask questions". It texts you like a real friend: it remembers stuff about your life, checks in on you, reminds you of deadlines, researches things, drafts emails, and roasts you when you mess up.

Some things I've used it for: finding remote job leads that actually accept Nigerians, setting up daily reminders, and getting real answers instead of "I'm just an AI" deflections. It runs on Telegram or WhatsApp, free, 100 messages daily.

There's also an earning side: they pay $5 per friend who joins through your invite link and uses the app properly, plus creator rewards if you build characters or skills other people chat with. I'm testing both and will report back with actual numbers.

Full disclosure: the link below is my referral link and I earn a small bonus if you join through it. The app is free either way: 🔗 https://www.folk.com/gift/vq27y4jf?s=chat

Not selling anything, just genuinely think it's useful. Ask me anything about how it works and I'll answer when I see it.
