rightlagos: When the market is not liquid, it is not advisable to trade. for example, now, at 11:00 am, though the forex pros EUR GBP all show strong buy, meanwhile d eur gbp on d chart is falling. why? the market is still ranging, trying 2 relax from d high volatility of last NFP.

However, some weeks back, I discovered a way 2 spot market liquidity. Visit www.forexfactory.com, by d left side of the home page, u will see: LIQUIDITY IS SO%. If d percent is low and falling, it shows market is ranging. If it is high and ranging, it shows d market is trending.

Last two months, during d non-farm payroll, d liquidity rose t0 250%. Immediately i placed d trade using forexpros strategy, it became positive in 5 seconds. But use it when it is rising. when the % is falling, it is risky, cos u are likely 2 fall with it.

Welldone mentor.,what percentage range is low to avoid trading and what %tage is high enough to trade?... Is it when %tage is less than avrg that we avoid trading and trade when above avrg?

Hi, u cant just jump into d thread and say u want to trade, u going to lose big time...d best thing to do is read and digest all discussion, if u cant start 4rm season 1, then start from 3 or 4 and make sure u grasp evri line of discussion. U can then ask questns 4rm our pros here. Just an advice ooo cos that was what i did at my 1st visit

rightlagos: If u are still losing with all the strategies you have got so far, then it shows the strategy that fits you is the one of TRADING ONCE A DAY. That is what I use most. No emotion. You sit calm and reap ur profit. Just think, think and think and explore all information at ur disposal. Try different strategies and make research. You will eventually spot upon a winning strategy. DON'T GIVE UP. WHAT I READ IS NUMBERS, though I'm poor in Maths. I don't do equation. I just observe and study what is going on behind d scene, and then do the hypothesis and arrive @ d answer. rightlagos: I hope u don chop? If u try like 15 minute duration on BOM and it fails, try 20 minutes, try 30 minutes. If u lose in any way, try 2 discern d probable reason for d loss: did i enter too early or late? Did I use a duration that is 2 low? You will realise that u will reach d promise land as soon as possible.

I don chop am with 30mins duration...next thing to do is allowing it to return to neutral b4 watching d formation again. Am i right?

rightlagos: which time frames were u looking @? U have to watch up to 3 timeframes together like 5, 10, 15, 30 min. don't just jump in d mkt. wait to see it forming. ok? cos d time u jump might be d time it is reversing.

1. What time interval do you think we can b reloading to avoid missing signal?
2. Do u still make 1hr time frame d 1st to consider?...cos u didnt include it in d above or does it lag?

prince123: rightlagos and every1 kudos,,please let me add smthing the forexpros strategy is okay as it summarize all the technical..but please that does not take away the fact that you still have to check your chart and look for the best time,,the startegy works but at times it doesnt update to the current situation,,for example right now aj and uj are rising sharply for over 30mins and forexpros was showing strong sell,,the strong sell has been winnin,but right now its rising,,so if you just check forexpros and click sell without checking your charts,,not adviceable,so at times at that situation it takes some time for their analysis to change to neutral,so you wont be caught off guard,kudos once again to all my brodas,,for the meeting i reside in lag,,but am in lag for some stuff currently for few days,,so how e go be.

Optimisticgondy: 1. I use the summary which is the summary of signals generated from the MA and all other indicators.

2.I think the Signal is created in such a way it can give possibe fall or rise in currency pairs within various time frames. That's why, at times, u may see a Strong Sell on EUR/USD for 15mins Time Frame while u may be seeing Strong Buy for 30mins Time Frame on the same currency pair. The signal is usually being updated every minute and the time in GMT of last update is there.

rightlagos: it's like we are becoming unanimous on d forexpros strategy. i think we can luk for a way of standardising it by entering & exiting tohether & other stuff. We will all be watching it together but I think some1 needs to carry us along. Optimistic has discovered a better way to trade d stuff. what do u c to that, Dukellan, optimistic & Big boys in d house

Optimisticgondy: Strong Sell is Fall while Strong Buy is Rise. But as for me, I don't use US Dollar Index. I just go to forexpros.com. Then I click on the currency pairs I wish to trade e.g. EUR/USD. Then I click on Technical Analysis of that currency and Time Frame of my choice. I usually trade 15 and 30 mins. For instance, if I see Strong Buy for EUR/USD on 15 mins, I'll go for Rise for 14 mins on BOM. I just dey chop 2 bets on EU now using 15mins Time Frame in addition to the 4 I chop early on UJ.

My TWO questns
1. Do u use only d summary or u use both moving avrge, indicator, nd summary to generate d signal?
2. How do u kno d strenght of d signal...for instance, if by d time u click on technical, time frame, nd u see buy signal, how do u kno if market as been rising since nd getting tired of rising?

rightlagos: tnx bros. e don tee when i use mt4 last o. but trendline is not found among indicators. go to d menu up. u will see FILE. U will also see another tab. i can't check it now cos am using my phone. but it is by d right after file. cliclk d drop down menu. u will see TRENDLINE, VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL LINE. Click on trendline. But to edit d trendline u will have to right click on d platform. bolden d line and put a clear colour. when i check d computer, i will be able to make it clearer.

Dungren: ^^^ That should be level 50 and not trendline. Click on the button for levels(from the same box you changed the period), click on ADD and type 50.
