Maybe the specific website has blacklisted MTN IPs. I have same issue on Airtel. I can browse all websites on my Airtel including GitHub.com but I cannot download any android studio app hosted on GitHub pages as long as it is Airtel. But if I switch to MTN it downloads. Either the ISP blocks that website IP or the website is blocking the ISP public IP. Like someone said a VPN will help. Your best bet is to download tor VPN /onion browser.

This news looks strange to nigerians because they come from a country where politicians do not have their interests at heart and there are no laws to empower the citizens. If not, MTN, DStv, stanbic ibtc, sterling banks which are south African banks by now would have been made to equally donate 25% of their shares to Nigerians rather than repartriate their entire profits abroad in the name of paying dividends to south African investors. Even Mobil, Chevron, coca cola, etc can be made to do same. The advantage of this is that the company can hardly park up and leave your country in time of economic downtime when indigenes own not less than 25%. My wife is from kogi state and she is Yoruba. Her family originated from the local government and still live there till today. Smart Adeyemi, a Yoruba man is an indigenes of kogi state, same with Dino Melaye, another Yoruba man.
