A month after being found guilty of the rape and sodomy of a 13-year-old girl, Adedoja has been sentenced to three consecutive life sentences plus an additional 76 years in Douglas County, Georgia, U.S.



Reports say that Adedoja was convicted on 12 charges including rape, aggravated sodomy, aggravated sexual battery, two counts of child molestation, two counts of aggravated child molestation, false imprisonment, aggravated assault, terroristic threats.


Prosecutors revealed how he spotted the victim, chased her into the woods, punched and beat her, threw her to the ground before molesting and sodomizing her.


According to Report, the defense asked the court, asking for mercy and to allow Adedoja to return to his native Nigeria, a request the judge denied. . Judge Adams said, “mercy is not mine to give you. I’m not the one you should be asking for mercy from.” .


“This man is a predator in every sense of the word, and the only way I know to guarantee that he doesn’t rape another child is to make sure he is never outside of prison again,” Deputy Chief Assistant District Attorney Samantha J. Newman told the court during the sentencing hearing.


He deserves the sentence he received, and the victim deserves to know that Bah will never, ever, hurt her or anyone else again. Because of this victim’s strength and bravery in testifying, she has ensured the Defendant won’t be able to prey on another woman or child again,” Newman added.

The text message a FUTO lecturer sent to his IT student who choose to do it in Kaduna has left many shocked.

A student of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) who chose to have he mandatory industrial training (IT) in Kaduna received an unbelievable text message from her lecturer who is to come supervise her at place of training.

Social media user, Chinoso shared the alleged text message from the lecturer and it reads;

Hi I am Engr…… from metallurgy and materials department. So of all the places you could do your I.T you chose to go to Kaduna? I just read in the papers now that bandits stopped two buses at kachia Kaduna south and kidnapped everybody, demanding 1.5 million ransome per head… that is the place you want me to come supervise you? I.T gbuo gi dia… when you come to school bring your log book to my department for signing. And am going to remove 10 marks for this nonsense you did. Attempting to permanently separate me from my wife and children. God day.

Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Umara, has assisted over 3,000 street beggars with N30,000 each in the last two months.

The Borno State Commissioner for Poverty Alleviation, Nuhu Clark, who told journalists on Tuesday that though the government had already invested N384m in the scheme, said the state governor would continue with the programme.

Clark said 3,127 physically-challenged persons were amongst more than 7,000 persons given N30, 000 across the state.


He said the scheme was aimed at preparing grounds for the enforcement of the government’s ban on street-begging in the state.

He disclosed that apart from the 3,127 physically-challenged persons from across the state enrolled into the scheme, 2,862 youths from Maiduguri and Jere received N30,000 each monthly for six months.

The EFCC, Lagos office, yesterday, November 13, 2019, arraigned one John Isang and his son, Martins John Isang before Justice Sherifat Solebo of the Special Offences Court sitting in Ikeja on an amended two-count charge bordering on conspiracy to obtain and obtaining by false pretence to the tune of $108, 000 (One Hundred and Eight Thousand United States Dollars) belonging to one Ikechukwu Eze. .

The duo allegedly obtained the said sum from the victim under the pretence of having a vessel for hire to transport Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) outside the country.

A Nigerian national has been charged alongside a Kenyan woman for engaging in gospel evangelism without authorisation and permit.

Joseph Ifeanyichukwu Ezeking, 39, and Alice Kawira, 35, are reported to have on diverse dates between January and September this year in Embu and Meru counties engaged in the exercise without the requisite permit.

Ms Kawira was charged with harbouring the foreigner in her house while knowing that he was illegally engaging in the evangelism.

Appearing before Isiolo Principal Magistrate Evanson Ngigi on Wednesday, the duo were also charged with obstructing police officers who had gone to arrest them in Meru County.

They pleaded not guilty of the three charges and were each released on a Sh100,000 bond.

The case will be heard on January 30, 2020.
