Good day house, I'm a pharmacy final year student (ESUT) and ever since my 100L I've always had the dream to Japa precisely to Canada.
Based on this thread I can give my 2 cent on immigration to Canada as a Nigerian pharmacist.

Firstly the goal is getting permanent residence(pr) . The first step is having your international passport. Then you can go ahead with your document evaluation.
You go to the PEBC website (Canada version of PCN) then you pay for your napra I.d which is about 380$ CAD (price changes) then you get your id and pay for your document to be evaluated ($780) .

The document you'll be sending is your passport, birth certificate, letter of good standing (this will be sent by PCN)

Then you go to your university and tell them to send your transcript to pencil themselves.

The evaluation period can take up to atleast 6-8 weeks . After you've been confirmed and evaluated you can now go for your English exam(IELTS or ceplip) . The aim is to max out your score so you can get maximum score.
Evaluating your Bpharm or pharm D with pebc will make your degree give you point for a master / professional degree.

Once you've written your English exam you can enter the express entry pool.
You'll get your CRS score, healthcare workers use the healthcare stream.
You have to work with your age, work experience, your English score. To be very competitive for the draw you have to learn french and write the exam
If your less than 30 yrs and you max your English exam and you reach a certain score in french (I think B2) you can reach up to 500 in your CRS score and whenever the draw results come out you'll almost be certain you'll get invitation to apply (ITA).


The journey isn't over yet but this is a major milestone in your journey.

During the process of waiting in the pool you need to start arranging your proof of funds(POF) as you need bank statement of up to 6 months.
For one person going to Canada you need POF of about $15,623. The price increases with number of family.

You can also get the money through deed of gift too.

After your ITA you'll be given 60 days to bring your biometric, medicals, police report , work experience ,POF and any other document

Amount for all will be around $1200 CAD.
After submitting all these you wait for the major news.
This is where you have faith and pray lol

Then you can get COPR- confirmation of permanent residence.

My head is blurry on the rest but your visa will be sent for stamping and sent back to you.
All these cancer take up to 6-8 months after your ITA.

Then you arrange for your accommodation, flight etc.

Welcome to Canada as a pharmacist 😅.

Here then based on the province you chose you can now start job hunting for pharmacy assistant roles.

You can be working as a pharmacy assistant while preparing for your relicensing exams

Osce

This can be tough for international pharmacy graduates (IPGs)
The pass mark for IPGs is about 40%

You can choose to write them at your own pace while working and understanding pharmacy practice.
I've seen people write and pass all three of them in 12-13 months
So it depends on how much you want it.

The major thing is leaving this Nigeria first.
As a pharmacist in Canada your salary already puts you in the top 8-10% of the population in Canada.
