Okay, I submitted my application December, 20th and yet to get feedback. Can you please advise?
I think you should follow up with an email. They are email responsive now. Within a week of the email sent, I think you would have gotten a response or your application finalised. Good luck.

Thanks. I have been asked to drop my passport at VFS. hoping it is good news. fingers crossed.
Good morning all,
I forgot to give an update. I received my passport with the study visa on last Friday. So I think the system is working now…and I wish this positive outcome for everyone who has applied and waiting. Thanks.

Okay proof of Accomodation what did you use
the bursary letter. it indicated it will cover accommodation, so i didn’t need an actual place/proof of residence.

Hi, what did you use as proof of Accomodation and residence and what did you use as proof of finance did you use bursary
used a bursary. bursary must indicate explicitly that they’d cover your tuition/living fees. also submitted a parent and mine’s nigerian bank statement (a total balance of less than 500k). So the statements don’t necessarily have to have lots of money but maintaining a consistent inflow/outflow of cash. so yeah

Hi All
I submitted my SA visa application at the VFS office Abuja since 17th December. Up till now, I haven't received any response.
What can I do to fastrack things?

Is anyone else in this situation?
I’m sorry but give it like 6 weeks cos I think it the system is efficient now as it is reported that they have cleared backlogs as at Dec last year . But I think the trick is to not submit during busy (festive) period. Or maybe as @hunee said I am lucky lol

No one has been talking about evisa lately grin

The thing don hard die to get.

South Africa has finally humbled us

Oya, go and apply via vfs. Leave DHA shocked
I have resubmitted a valid yellow card. I didn’t do evisa. I submitted at Lagos VFS. I was just asking the time frame for an outcome giving they requested a yellow card resubmission within 5 days of my visa application submission.

Hi everyone,

I submitted my SA (study) visa application on 2 January. On 8 January, I was asked to resubmit my a valid yellow card within 3 working days.

Does this request means my application outcome is almost decided on and I should a receive positive outcome (my visa) soon? Thanks
