You don’t dislike criminals more than the average person does. Let him follow the current US constitution for dealing with criminals. It’s been working. In fact more people are locked up than there need to be. The escalation is unnecessary and it’s so easy to see that is a ploy to get rid of dissidents.

You are right and that's the reason why Trumps tariffs are so important. The tariffs will push the US and other global companies to develop rear earth metals refining independent of China. On the other hand, the Chinese have no alternative market that replaces the US market which happens to be the biggest in the world.

Now you get the point, more than 70% of the worlds rear earth metals are outside china yet the Chinese control over 90% of the rear earth refining and trade. Do you see how 40 years of bad policy has put the US in this position?
Now the question is, do you continue with these policies that has made china control global manufacturing or do you change policy even though it may be painful so that in the next 20 years when the US becomes a manufacturing super power again, people would talk about this day where it all began?
As for China, it has just lost 14% of it's market. Remember, china is an export economy. So china is much more cooked.

It's time to use your brain. The only reason why a US-made iPhone will be so expensive is because the US ceded manufacturing to China, and over time, China got better and could do it cheaper.
If the US continues this way, in the next 20 years, it will be impossible to make anything in the US. Someone had to say no and reverse the trend.
