I don't know how people feel by complicating another person's problem instead of giving a way out. It's not funny haven registered for UTME, prepared seriously, enrolled for tutorials and personal efforts the exam comes and go all to see is a mark below average. It's normal for such a student to keep wandering what's the cause, could it be as a result of the bad system environment He or she wrote the exam? Or the cbt tension in his Mind? He will also want to know if there is a way out to avoid staying at home for another one Good year doing nothing. Some of such students keep surfing the internet for a possible way out to their predicament. Just online He/she stubbled into a post titled 'upgrade your jamb scored'. Such student will do all it takes to raise money for that with the hope of been upgraded to meet the national Cut off. Unfortunately, as at the moment such person is reading the post he/she has already fall a scam victim. It's really saddened that we youths at this age will still device such a dubious means to scam our brothers and sister with average age of 17years who actually need our guide to succeed into higher institutions. Just last year, a lady called me from Lagos and wanted to confirm if Unilorin direct entry form is out which as of then the form Was yet to be out. In our conversation I was meant to know that she had already sent 9200naira to someone she meant online who told her the for was out and will close in two days time, the person later offer to help her obtain the form and she sent down money to him. But up to the moment she called me, the guy has not been picking. Note: no sch sells it direct entry form alone except from jamb office or Zenith bank for all schs and it's always out for sale from April till August every year. In another senerio, last year inside kwara state polytechnic, a little jambite was duped her school fees because she lacked the fundamental internet knowledge to pay her school fees herself. A guy offered her a helping hand and eventually rubbed her of the fee. The lady later went back home unregistered because her poor groundnut mother seller could not raise another cash as she even borrowed that from the thrift in her area. Thank God the lady has passed another jamb this year with 235. What bothered my mind is why and for how long will people be doing this to this little younger ones. I sensed that it's as a result of been unemployed, but why making the same people under the same conditions with us to suffer this. People that are actually doing this are those through long time internet experience they know what's going On in education sector and they know the problems and challenges of jambites and they decided to capitalised on it to earn living. Jambites my little advise for you is that, first of all zero your mind from jamb upgrading stuff, it's a scam. If you failed jamb this year, it's not the end of life prepare your mind for next year and invest your time in something profitable. |
psychologist:surely they will. |
eniolaamoda:They have questions, and that apart, there are other very relevant compiled materials tested and worthy for the exam. The subject combination is maths english biology and current affairs. 40 questions in 20minutes |
I rep the 'Better by far university' University of Ilorin |
2015 Jamb exam is gradually coming to an end, only God can tell how many out of these million applicants will be admitted. I wish you all the best |
eniolaamoda:I was talking about the jamb cut off... I mean the minimum jamb score you can score in jamb to qualify for post utme mass com in unilorin last year. But the post jamb Cut off is 50%. I guess this helps? |
University of Ilorin Cut off marks As UTME is coming to an end and gradually applicants have started receiving their results the question now is what is the cut off for various courses in unilorin? Presently jamb is yet to announce what the cut off will look like this year but for university of Ilorin we can easily draw inference from what the school use as it's Cut off in the last admission exercise. So therefore, below were the cut off for various departments in unilorin for all the departments. 220: mass com 215: Medicine 210: Common law 200: Accounting, biochemistry, chemical engr, computer science, economics, electrical engr, mechanical engr, micro biology, nursing and pharmacy. 190: Anatomy, business adm, business education, common law, geology, english, information technology, library and info science, physiology, political science, sociology and statistics. 180: marketing, maths, human kinetic, health education, all education courses except biz education, islamic studies, arabic etc visit www.uilugportal.unilorin.edu.ng/images/putme_cutoff.jpg for more. |
eniolaamoda:Last year was 220 which was the highest, but it was as a result of high applicants for that course. This year no one can tell. |
vivikul:I guessed you have upper credit in your nation diploma because that's the minimum requirements for finance. Then your chances can only be determined after you might passed the post jamb with high score. Direct entry form is yet to be out for now. |
