If Buhari used Yakubu Mahmood to rig elections for himself and APC and got away with it, it is because Southwest people and the entire North supported it while Southeast complained alone. The reason for this recommendation is so you can acquire the ability to research, introspect, examine, and think factually.

Let me ask you: how many votes did Atiku Abubakar receive when he ran for election outside Africa's biggest political party at the time, the PDP?. A little over 2 million votes. In contrast, Muhammadu Buhari was pulling a solid 11 million votes with his relatively obscure CPC at that time.

Now, let’s fast forward to 2019 and 2023. I hope you know the vote counts. A relatively unknown H.E. Mr. Peter Obi jump-started Atiku’s votes when he deputized for him in 2019.

In 2023, Peter Obi, contesting under the Labour Party, a party not known to most Nigerians, was said to have received 6.1 million votes, about 700k votes short of the total the criminally fraudulent INEC allocated to Atiku Abubakar, who contested under the PDP, a legacy party with structures all over the country, significant financial resources, governors, senators, local government chairmen, and more.

Even those were not entirely Atiku votes, there were also establishment votes, same as Tinubu recieved.

Let’s not forget who Atiku’s deputy was in that election: Ifeanyi Okowa, the incumbent governor of Delta State at the time. Who won Delta State in that election?.

Now you understand why nobody is losing sleep over Tinubu’s 32 governors. Who won Tinubu’s Lagos and his governor, Sanwo-Olu?. In fact, who won the presidential election? .

Is the picture becoming clearer?. For all he is said to be, Bola Tinubu defeated Alhaji Atiku in the presidential poll and pulled the rugs from under his feet in the courts in the aftermath.

Get this: Atiku is genuinely disliked in the South today. He will struggle to receive more than 2 percent of the votes in any South East state. The South West is also largely off-limits to him, seeing as he is no longer beneficial to, or allied with, most staunch politicians of the zone with the exceptionof Aregbesola. And the South South has a son of the soil, Chibuike Amaechi, in the race as we speak.

That being said, Atiku will suffocate in the South even if Amaechi deputizes him. Tinubu knows this much. that’s why he is working to confuse people like you.

Even so, Alhaji Abubakar is already facing internal resistance in the North from northern presidential hopefuls who are understandably unwilling to freeze their ambitions for another 16 years in order to allow an 80-year-old man, who should be playing with his great-grandchildren, to be president.

People are not as altruistic these days, and Tinubu’s nepotism has hastened the desperation of northern political stakeholders.

The incumbent will largely prevail in his region, the SW, but Lagos will be vigorously contested, and Ondo, to a much lesser extent, will also be in contention if Peter Obi is contesting.

You see all the “city boys” noise and the arm-twisting of corrupt SE governors to decamp to the APC, that is an effort in futility. SE bulk votes, in the high 90 percent range, are locked down for PO. He does not need to campaign for them.

The remaining fight in this election is in the North, specifically the North West and North Central. When it comes to the North west, two key players can decisively sway the outcome. As we speak, one is still in detention, while the other is constrained by bail conditions. Read between those lines.

Tinubu knows that Peter Obi will defeat him decisively in the North Central. Notice he did not really engage with the bereaved people in Plateau?. He told them they do not have electricity, as if that is not his responsibility. No need crying over spilled milk.

This election, if free and fair, is pretty much a contest between the incumbent and a strong southern candidate with an organic voter base, deputized by a northern candidate with a similar pedigree.

We all know who these candidates are, and that is who Tinubu and Onanuga are working fervently to confuse you about.
