No matter how you look at it, this is an abuse of office and privilege. Party politics should be clearly delineated from the office of the president as he oversees other Nigerians with diverse party affiliations. Nigeria is not a one-party dictatorship like China. I expect her, however, to pay the fine while she pursues her appeal, thereby countering the Senate. If she wins on appeal, she gets her ₦5 million back. This is legal and common sense.
