Politics › Re: Reno Omokri Gives Reasons For Criticizing Peter Obi by Saint99: 10:58am On May 24, 2024 |
I would have taken you seriously if you had mentioned Awolowo and his headless mob in the West as well. At least Zik's mob as you would like to call it did not constitute a nuisance to the federal government but that could not be said about Awolowo and his own mob. HitlerWasRight: Obi is a student of Zik.
He learnt not only from Zik's success but also from his mistakes.
Zik also had a mob cult behind him who went by the collective name "Zikists".
These were delusional Marxists who saw Zik as their Lenin.
The Zikists were not only highly vitriol like our Obidient mob but also did not shy from commiting acts of terrorism against the British colonial govt. One of their members was arrested after trying to assassinate the British colonial governor.
The Zikist spurn familiar phrases that are used by their descendants today such as "civil disobedience".
At every act of public nuisance and violence carried out by the Zikists, Azikiwe did not hesitate to dissociate himself from the group whom he (Zik) labelled as a "headless mob" - sounds familiar?
It's believed by most historians that Zik lost a bulk of his supporters following his condemnation and dissociation from the Zikist mob and later on, in his rejection of an independent biafran state.
Obi has been trying to avoid all of Zik's mistakes hence why he never cautions or condemns his rabid followers and their Biafra side hustle in IPOB. |

We should stand against fanaticism, it does more harm than good. Even the Arsenal players who lost the trophy will still collect their match bonuses, go to parties that same night, and have fun with their spouses and girlfriends. Among bundles of problems that Africa is plagued with that supposly worth dying for, he did not see any of those, it is the EPL that has no bearing to his good living. |

IDF sells specialized Israel-made weapons to USA just the same way the USA sells theirs to Israel. So it is a symbiosis type of relationship they have. Why do you think Arab powers are more than ready to normalize their relationship with them? Security topped the list, to have a strong ally in the Middle East as a deterrent to Iran |

I can help you to understand the reason we are seeing what we are seeing now from the judiciary. Remember before the election, LP was a party that was not. It became a party of interest the period Obi joined the party and by then it was almost too late for most of the candidates. With that sudden surge in popularity, LP was racing against time to fill candidates before the closing date as more people became interested in flying the party's flag. Without any doubt, it was a successful outing for LP. From the lessons learned, they will get it better next time. If you want, you can under-rate them. The wise ones have started positioning themselves to fly the LP flag in the next election. |
