I know that it won't be fair to blame only Peter Obi for saying this or for believing that "it is the way to go"...other Nigerian political leaders (at Federal, State and even LGA/LCDA level) are all involved in this madness.

How could Nigerian political leaders at various level still spend scarce public resources to send people on religious pilgrimages that add absolutely nothing to Nigeria? The resources diverted into this could be useful for other things that would be beneficial to more people and make the country a better place for many.

Fellow Nigerians, when are we going to actually emancipate ourselves from this religious shackles?

Sad. Depression is real. we don't really pay much attention to mental health and anxiety issues in Nigeria. There should be a group for this. Suicide is caused by unbearable pain and hopelessness. Please note; If you are feeling down or depressed, feel free to vent, find someone nice to vent out to and please guys try to give a listening ear, do not insult or mock them, it will make them feel worse. Even if you can't do much to help, just by listening to them when they vent really helps them feel better. Talking to someone helps. Don't be ashamed to vent out whatever is bothering you, you may feel no one cares but some really do care✅

The Coalition of Northern Groups, CNG, has issued a strong warning against any attempt to weaken the electronic transmission of election results before the 2027 general elections.
